@LegoTromboneHero101 Yes, that was one of the versions, including but not limited to, "I don't care," and "I don't give a darn," which was the version I and a friend did.
Statement: This is very good. Almost as good as Abbott and Costello. It would be better if all the sound wasn't on only the left speaker, but what can ya do. Nice job.
"I'm a bad boy" (said with a high-pitched little boy's voice) was one of Lou Costello's catchphrases; he'd typically use it at least once each show when his character had screwed something up royally. Totally appropriate way to end the sketch.
The true test is whether you laugh as much with these guys as with Bud & Lou. I know I did.

Wow, I haven't seen anyone look and sound so much like Bud and Lou. A friend of mine and I did this same thing, and we didn't get close to THIS!
SaulAdamTJ1234 1 year ago
Did Lou ever actually say,"I don't give a damn"?

@LegoTromboneHero101 They used damn when performing for the troops and places where strict censorship wasn't always an issue such as radio and TV.

Man, that was terrific! The only one on you tube so far that I've found that sticks to the script--cool!

My teacher made us listen to this in school for some kind of English paper. I hated it at first but now I'm addicted to it. :P

I recall hearing about a version of this done, but with the names of actual Yankee ball players. Anyone have footage of it?

That sketch is by the comedy duo "Slovin and Allen".

Somebody got to play somewhere. I'm sure that the "Democrats" & "Republicans" got it right on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.

So funny! Now do it three times as fast! Listen to the real one... it also has stepping builds. :-)
