LOL. He will never be able to afford the tune-ups or repairs on that E55. I'm a former Mercedes Benz tech and just did a quote for a service on a 2004 CLK320. It hit $850 in a blink and that was approx. $600 cheaper than the dealer quote.
whya re the interiors of allamerican cars sofuckin cheap and made of plastic ls 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 engine suck ass 5.76 liters only 350 horses? junk 6.0 liters 422 HP imports get 400+HP out of 4 liters if they decided to build 5, 6, or 7 liter engines trust me your cars wouldbe history, but like they say class isnt cheap. american junk is. nice dept of treasury cars LOL
u paid 80k for a vetter with a oversized hunk of plastic?whoop-e-doo 1st i drvie a Acura which is far better then any gm. second your car is a dept of treasury car, sostfu nublit. 3rd id rather own a acura then a GM and im actually bout ready to trace my acura for a AMG E55 benz which runs 12.3 stock with a beautifulk inside unlike your cheap ass overpriced car.. anyonhe who pays 80k for a GM has more money then sense
I accidently removed one of pureadrenaline's posts, but I think he is forgetting the only rule of owning cars.
Price, Speed, Quality
Pick two because you can't have all three. This 08 cost my friend $38k brand new, and my '00 cost me 15. We're not claiming that they are rolls-royces by any means, but to compete on a performance/mileage/cost budget, NOTHING can compete.I'll deal with mercedes guys telling me their instrument cluster cost a lot more to produce. *shrug*
@pureadrenaline25 If they decided to build 7L engines w/ DOHC heads like all european engines use the engines would be so large and heavy they wouldn't even fit properly in an SUV. The LS7 for example makes 500HP from 7 liters, while the BMW or Lamborghini V10's make the same power from "only" 5 L, but the actual LS7 engine IS SMALLER AND LIGHTER than both "high-tech" european V10's. And did I mention its more fuel efficient, reliable, and can be modded to all hell? All for half the $ too. ;D
Damn good post. Finally someone with some sense. I have been following Corvettes for 27 years and own a repair business. what you typed a is a concept that most will never understand. The OHV is the most compact design even when adding cubes which does not automatically cause an increase in actual block size or weight.
@PCgeek14 Yeah i hate when honda owners talk about the size of their engine in liters compared to how much power it makes. if you think about it the measurement is just a measure of inside the cylinders so the actual 7.0liters is just empty space. the actual size of the block and engine determine the weight not the size in liters. they brag about a 2.0l making 100hp/liter when in reality its almost the same size as an LS1. Displacement always mean more weight.

You sound like the biggest retard on youtube... Obviously you know nothing about the LS series engine... imports get 400HP out of FORCED INDUCTED motors you idiot... And I assure you squeezing that much HP out of a puny 4 cylinder engine definitely makes it more unreliable than using a bigger displacement engine block. And the "cheap plastic interiors" can also be found in your so-called imports as well you imbecile...
@pureadrenaline25 imports are 4 cylinders, not 4 liters... big difference. i have a mountain dew bottle with more litters than your shitty as import. American Made FTW.
@pureadrenaline25 Pure moron you happen to think when building a 7.0L engine you just make bigger block big big big and thats it. Well you are wrong just saying that proves you know 0 about engine engineering. Building a 7L reliable and POWERFUL engine takes as much or even more tech/experience than building a 2L 240HP engine. And the 7L will get 30mpg in 6th gear and have torque to pass cars in top gear whereas the 2L simply wont
no thats not his instant MPG that was his average mpg total while since hes had the car...its going down very quickly...starts in the 18's at the start of the video.
is this the standard vette?
