you make it sounds like they only make Hummer. Last time i checked there are 11 different GM makes. GM has the most advanced hybrid technology on the road today. You need to go back and look at what GM makes and actually check them out in person before you pass judgement. Do not pass you opinion based on what they had in 1990. GM made mistakes, but if they fail, 100,000+ jobs will be lost by their direct employee's. Parts suppliers will fail, dealerships will go under. NASCAR is the biggest spectator sport in America. It will die. All of its employees will die. All the merchandise it sells, will go away. If people really look into it, there is absolutely no way we stay out of a depression if any of these company's collapse. All those employee's wont be able to put their kids through college.

That car shown is NOT a hybrid. it is an ALL ELECTRIC car. The gas engine is used ONLY when the car has driven 50+ miles without stopping and the batterys need to be recharged. It's not ment to take cross country trips in, but more then half of this country drives to work and back in less then 50 miles both ways.

you know why they killed it? THERE WAS NO DEMAND FOR IT! gass was less then a dollar, nobody wanted an electric car when they could have a regular one or an SUV for much cheaper. The only way GM could have not gottin into this mess is if it didnt follow what people wanted. People wanted SUV's, it gave them SUV's, so did ford, and chrysler.

Hell..GM has more hybrids available right now then ANY car company. a Chevy SUV can get the same MPG as a Camry.
