I have a Carrera 4S (997), Every time I see it in my Garage! It puts a smile on my Face! What a Car.. nothing looks like it and sounds like ! There may be other faster car, but this is the real thing! the best engineering and quality material on the market!

Question...I want a 997S, however, I'm playing the waiting game to see how reliable these cars are as the 99-02 996 engines were dismal because of the reliability issues with the "sleeved" cylinders. Whats your take on the 997 as I want to track it as Porsches of yore were meant for. What kind of miles do you currently have and have your driven it hard to test the reliability issues from the previous model? I hope they can be driven like the 901. I hear of some going over 300k miles.
