  • theyre very expesive

  • Just got a pair delivered. Tried them out today = A W E S O M E ! !!

  • Yeah Fatgripz are badass since I have been using them I have noticed my biceps triceps and forearms have gotten wider it builds width and my tendons in my wrist and fingers have gotten a lot stronger.

  • look guys just work out why are you putting sh.i.t on that dont even work ye sure its new and fun to try out but thats it

  • @beratio Beratio, pulling a thicker bar is harder than pulling a narrow one, usually. It's simply physics bro. Go find your max pull on 1inch, then try it with 2-3 inches. Way harder, you can feel it in the grip.

  • I use pvc pipe on my barbell

  • I've had mine for about a year now. Highly recommended. Vein busting workouts!

  • why spend money on those when u can use a towel wrapped around the bar or even pipe insulation?

  • @cillianp91 idk.. why the fuck do people need handles to do push--ups or pull-ups?? just another stupid fuckin invention that I'm pissed I didn't think of

  • @KyleP2009 obviously you have never used thick bars, pullups using fat gripz are impossible for me, and look up videos of people doing thick bar bench presses the same logic applies to FG pushups, its for grip strength if your not getting the picture

  • @shieldbreaker1000 if u are that worried about ur forearms u need to focus on much more than a thicker bar.. benefits from this are minimal

  • @KyleP2009 Well that may be true for a bodybuilder I have no experience with that but using Fat Gripz for rows and lat pulldowns increased my forearm strength a good amount, with no gripper practice for about 12 weeks I was able to close the #2 captains of crush gripper I had been stuck on having a inch left until close, which is alot. With the thick bar bench presses I never really felt it in the forearms but the whole exercise felt different

  • @KyleP2009 Well, on the push-up aspect, my wrists are pretty damaged and I can't put any weight on them when palms are down and arms extended back. I've been a cashier for almost a decade, so repetitive motions such as scanning and lifting have killed them basically. So for me? Handles give me leverage and alternate positions to keep pain/pressure off so I can manage Push-ups effectively and pain-free.

As for Pull ups - I imagine the same thing, or it's more of a stabilizing challenge.

  • @KyleP2009 Eh, isn't having something to hang onto sort of a requirement for pull ups kyle?

As for push ups, it's a variation that can add depth or keep the forearms vertical compared to doing it with palms. U mad bro?

  • @tyciol after reading the first line of ur reply it became clear to me that you are fucking retarded and obviously don't comprehend any of what I said a year ago.....

  • @KyleP2009 Perhaps not. I am hoping you might explain the hidden subtleties in " why the fuck do people need handles to do push--ups or pull-ups?" that I failed to comprehend.

  • @tyciol well first off, what I said was a reply to another comment. When I asked "why the fuck do people need handles to do push--ups or pull-ups?" it was actually a rhetorical question... it was also referring to workout products that have no extra benefit but are still being sold (like the Perfect Push-up and the Perfect Pull-up)........ so next time you want to be a smart ass, you should start by not being a dumbass.

  • @KyleP2009 Coming down on people for not understanding your rhetorical implications is silly.

Perfect Pull-up has the extra benefit of having a swing bar, and the rotating handles allow neat tricks like transitioning from a prone to supine grip, which might be more comfortable for some shoulders. So it's not without benefit.

I still don't follow what you think I said was dumb.

  • @cillianp91 1 of the benefits to these grips is that they dont crush or mis-shape under pressure due to the material they are made from, ud be hard pushed to replicate these things.....

  • @cillianp91 because they feel solid and are easier to use than a towel, and you can't take pipe insulation into a gym

  • @cillianp91 becuase thats fking ghetto lmao

  • @cillianp91 lol i would look stupid with a towel

  • @cillianp91 yes that's true but these are very convenient; snap on snap off.

  • @cillianp91 because its much more convenient to not have to wrap 2 towels around each barbell/dumbbell every set? and these are more durable and thicker than pipe insulation? bottom line is these yield fantastic results in grip strength and forearm size. I highly recommend them

  • @cillianp91 Wrapping the towel can be kinda tedious, and towels are usually too long to do around something like a dumbbell. I agree those are good options, though we should keep in mind that with heavier pulls they deform and become more narrow. FatGripz keep a consistent diameter.

  • I just used mine today for pull ups, dips, pull downs, and t-bar rows. For the most part, they really challenged me, though ironically I felt stronger on the t-bar rows. In any case, from just the wee bit that I did today, I noticed an almost immediate difference in my strength when I did the exercises without the grips. I am a believer.

  • This builds THUMB strength =) Very important and hard to train.

  • @tyciol masturbation duh! lmao jk

  • believe the hype! i got me some fat gripz couple months back!

  • Got mine 2 days ago! The are fucking great!! so much you can do with them. Love the Fat Grip Bench Press and Curl and the Fat Grip hang from chinning bar to really fry the grip

  • They are bro! KILLED my forearms the other day when I did arms. The pump lasted so long it was ridiculous. I had to bring the weight down on a couple exercises to get all the reps I wanted. Im using them every arm day

  • MY pair came in the mail today!

  • They're awesome aren't they?
