once again, the real issue about dna the concern about how it will be used and by whom. drop a few hairs near a crime scene and you are suspect #1. hundreds of people in the US have been wrongly convicted on DNA evidence due to sloppy crime labs and police work...many people have been vindicated too, but it isn't a sure thing at all--especially with corruption so common at all levels of government. again, the real problem is with transparency and trust.

I don't get this woman. She's unelected, has no mandate to represent the people yet speaks copiously throughout the media on what people think often at variance with public opinion. I really look forward to her ending her time at Liberty and making a genuine contribution to society by getting a proper job instead of being a person who is never happier than when she is complaining. Or, spending some time in genuinely oppressed countries instead of thinking the UK is somehow deprived of liberties.

Perhaps you should consider that by remaining outside the political sphere (and the power that comes with it, usually through corruption) she is able to contribute more valuably to society in terms of discourse?

Charity begins at home, and so does reform. Maybe Britain SHOULD take a look at its home policies before attempting to redeem those of other countries.

She has no accountability for any of her words or actions. That is a dangerous and potent mix. I have lived abroad for several years in countries like Pakistan, India, the Middle East, China and Japan. These countries have institutionalised racism. There are no white policemen in Pakistan, no black ministers, etc. This lady constantly accuses the UK of being a racist country in ignorance of the reality and the genuine racism elsewhere. My ex-colleagues dream of the liberties we enjoy in the UK.
