The thing is that some of the things in these adverts are irrelevant now, my friend who adores apple has had his MacBook infected and his iMac die on him twice. Macs are designed for people who are too dumb to use pc's and art designers

Many people who buy a Mac don't even buy it for what it's good at, i.e. movie editing, photo editing. They buy it because it a) is considered cool, and b) looks cool. Such Mac owners don't strike me as particularly bright, and tend to just follow the crowd like sheep. Quite fitting then that Macs are white, like sheep.

I thought these adverts were quite good because, thanks to peep show, we've assigned a younger, more modern, fun personality to robert webb (even tho he is still an idiot in the show). but theres definately that sense of old fashioned and boring vs more 'with it' and interesting with these characters and thats what apple is trying to say. were the american actors a well known comedy duo with similar personalities? x

What happened was Apple bought a bunch of Xerox stock and got their GUI stuff in exchange, then Microsoft copied the Mac and called it Windows.

Apple sued and lost. The only reason Windows is shit is because they have no incentive to make it less shitty

Macs are great. but PCs own the computer gaming industry. Also when macs do crash u have to replace the whole machine. Instead of a fix like with a PC. You can customise PC to fit any activity, Macs only can use programs thats made for it or legitimately converted. But this is common sense already. Which is why i use PC at home and Mac at work :)

Iv never seen it done, and i dont really see why you would want to, as its an apple program, and runs best on a mac, and Macs are the industry standard for music!!

I used to be a Windows user, studied computing at school, hated macs, and hated people who used them, but i was just being ignorant, because it was something i didnt know how to use. But i was converted to Macs when i used Logic 8 at my uni, and iv never looked back :)!

Its not hard to use, u just have to fill in the gaps :P!!

I would put my money on microsoft earning more since their the industry standard os and if you have a real think about its really astonashing how microsoft has dominated the world as the os wherever you go microsoft will be round the corner.I think apple wouldent of had as good of an os if they started out as a company who sells their os for any old pc. Apple has the advantage of develping their os more effectively as theyre built for macs so hardware criterias are met more easily.
