Collagen is created entirely within our cells from chemicals formed within the body except for one: vitamin C. This is why C is the #1 precursor necessary for collagen formation that must be supplied externally, so using it as a skin peel does double duty... unlike other peels, it builds as it breaks down old crosslinked peptides that give you wrinkles and destroy elasticity. With so much misinformation out there, this one is a nice change.
Note: your water doesn't absorb because it's hard.
@GoinBack2Naija I beat you have a brain the size of a pea...... your pretty rude maybe you should take care to keeping your mouth shut when appropriate. you really show your maturity level...
Hi Daisy, I love your videos and thank you for this one! Sorry if you already answered this, but I couldn't find the answer to my question in any of the comments or your other video. What form of vitamin E should I use with this serum? A powder makes the most sense, but I'm not sure. Thank you :) <3
hello, very informative videos thank you lady! Where do you buy the vitamin c powder? I tried Holland &barrat but they didnt have it! apart from ordering on ebay?
@cheerfullgiver Thanks, glad you enjoyed! Gosh, I cant remember, I just googled it "vitamin c powder uk" and found the best deal, I'll get back to you on that.
@daisynation Thank you! Will be applying Vit C first as per your instructions. I was just afraid that if I apply the cream couple mins after ( as i'm in a hurry always) ) it won't penetrate since vit C serum would be there. I assume this is not the case?) Thank you again for awesome videos)
@MzKeeko1 No, it has to be the form of Vitamin C known as L-Ascorbic Acid or sometimes written as just Ascorbic Acid. That's the only form to do this treatment with, but it's not a silly question, it's a very good question!
Really informative video. I make up my own serum sometimes but I put mine in a brown glass dropper bottle and keep it in the fridge away from light to keep the Vit C active for 2/3 days. I think I got my distilled water from Boots or local chemist and I put Glycerine in my serum too. I also make it and put it on in dim lighting at night! Strange going-ons! :-)
@dianeuk01 Thanks Diane, I will try and get my hands on some Glycerin and a glass dropper too. It is strange, a spectator would be like WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! Battery Top Up Water, Vit C and a dark room? lol : )
Thank you DAISY! I'm so happy to have this info. I will be purchasing the recommended items tomorrow & will begin this regimen immed! Can’t believe I've never been taught this before. I'm SO very excited to begin that I'm fighting the urge to get out &purchase the ingredients NOW!! (Can you picture this...hubby & I chillin here in the living room already in my gown, showered & set for bed when I announce, I'm headed to Walmart will be back soon, need vitC pdr & distilled water..NOW! ) hahaa
@Mrsjustheretolearn You're so welcome!! I'm glad your so enthused and inspired to try the treatment, you won't be disappointed with it's reviving effects. Just start out with a teeny amount of Vit C and plenty of distilled water and build up. You made me laugh with your description - they are funny ingredients, especially the idea of Battery Top Up Water for the face! ; )
I've been using a Vitamin C Energizing Face Spritz by The Body Shop and it is amazing!! I use it every day before (i spritz a lot on a cotton pad and put it all over my face) and after doing my make-up (it works amazingly for setting the makeup (=
You are so stunning. It never fails to amaze me. Thanks for the helpful video-- I've been really interested in trying out some exfoliating peels and this was really informational! I hope you are well. :)
thank you so much! ive had my eyes on vitamin c for a while and i just ordered l-ascorbic acid from garden of wisdom. this just reassured me i need it (acne scars, lines, texture, pores). thank you.
@iluvpenguins007 I think you'll find it wonderful, it's a real treatment where the results are very noticeable and stunning esp when done regularly : )
Thank you so much for making this video! I'm all about the Vitamin C treatments now and this will save me so much money in the future! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! =]
I love doing this-so much less expensive than Skinceuticals and the last bottle of that I had of their CE Ferulic did go bad before I finished using it. xo jan
@manicmaquillage Loving you! <3333 You would love it because you like natural ones like The Perfect Cheek. It's blush as only Nars can make, I will do a review methinks.
I totally agree with you on the harsh stuff. I'm not there yet but I do love my vitamin C. Have only used the complex from murad (which is activated on wet skin) not peels though so thanks for sharing. :)
@blushingpixie I knew there would be a lot of people experimenting and curious. I wanted to show how I do it cheaply at home. Thanks for your comments doll xx

Hi Dasy! I have hard time to find L-Ascorbic Acid. Will it work if I use lemon juice+water instead? Thanks.
