Most of the line is 80 mph running and its all through the forests ... lots of dirt gets thrown back up towards the train, especially when it rains. yuck.
Great vid, thanks for posting. NJT needs to repaint their cars. They look horrible. They should take some tips from GO trains (Toronto, Canada's transit). Those look great!
Sorry, I posted that comment before I learned that they are actually dirty and every so often sent north for a wash. Thanks for pointing it out though, a good wash def makes them look nice. :)

Those cars don't need to be repainted. They're just dirty! A good washing will make them shine like new.
