@kissmickd: That's because he uses his pinky (4th finger) for the 3rd fret position. He should be using his 3rd finger (Ring finger) for the 3rd fret position. Alot of players do that pinky thing on the 3rd fret... Kirk Hammet, James Hetfield, Zakk Wylde. Personally I feel its a bad habit to get into.

Hm, during the solo it sounded like you may need to use a thinner pick because there was an awful lot of pick noise when you hitting the g-string.

Then again, a thinner pick also has more noise on the lower strings...I guess its really personal preference and your string gauge. That's why I use a 1mm Dunlop Maxgrip cause I have a 7-string with .11-.58 gauge.

@Maidenize666 just buy zakk's gear. if you're too poor for that, buy Zakk's wah pedal and have a high gain amp and that's pretty much it. make sure you have EMG's in your guitar too

@Maidenize666 just buy EMG pickups, they're kind of expensive but they are worth it, they make your guitar sound like a badass. buy the EMG 81 for the bridge and the 85 for the neck, and also buy his wah. this will end up costing you around 310 dollars depending on where you buy from. I'm assuming you amp has high gain
