@matthewhaynie good tone and feeling for the the song, i like that but compare to the best guitarists who have played this song, no compare possible !! but i like all bluesmen, and this guy play the instrumental blues the right way
I think that Hendrix was impressed by Dylan as a fantastic song writer with a simple spastic voice. but Hendrix showed a very nice voice .Review the history of show business and you will notice that most big hits were not in the hand of the performer but in the hands of producers and critique. In the years when music was music, you won't be able to plug and praise any crap like nowadays. I won't post any video as it will be as bad as this great version of Double Trouble.
Thanks for laying down the law for all us know-nothings. I guess that means Hendrix sucked along with a bunch of other people who could play the nitrocellulose off their guitars but didn't have much of a voice?
Reminds me of the old joke - How many guitarists does it take to screw in a light bulb? A whole auditorium full: one to actually do it and the rest to bitch about how much better they would have done it. Where's your video?
A respectable version of this song. This guy has that Otis Rush guitar sound copied pretty well, but the vocals leave a little to be desired. Otis Rush and Eric Clapton both do killer versions of this blues masterpiece.

the singing is poor. A bluesman needs to sing and play the blues. Check it up with Clapton on "From the Craddle", I bet Top....
