i'm afraid there is no video of me shooting but i am the son of the head gamekeeper at ballindalloch castle where we release 16,000 pheasents each season one of the best shoots you will do in your life
Hilarious how folks prowl youtube looking for things to pounce on - get a life! Thanks for posting the shoot JesseHunting - I enjoyed watching and would love to have somethign like that available for myself and my dog to help fill the loooong off-season!
As the video is titled, this is a SHOOT, not a HUNT. Most of these folks do put and take shooting to work their upland dogs. after the pheasant season closes.
Again, IT'S NOT A HUNT. Please try and keep that in mind before you make your assumption.
REAL hunter use bows and no dogs on pheasants. We did it as kids in Iowa. I hope you're not taking the easy route and using a shotgun with dogs and drivers and blockers. For shame if you are LOL.
Do you know of any place to hunt rabbit, the place I usually go brunt and is closed to the public till it becomes safe again. I live near Los Angeles CA.Any suggestions will help
I think you are mistaking the girl in the video using her foot to sort through the high grass for her empty shell as "trampling" the shell into the ground.
We stress picking up the shells to all the hunters on these shoots. Many of us also pick up shells left by other shooters.
We try and leave any place we hunt or shoot a little bit cleaner than we found it.
Looks like a nice place, you might want to work on the Shorthair staying steady on flush though

Good to hear that. Semi's and pumps are little used here in the UK for pheasants.
