Unfortunately the apps in the App Catalog are not globally available. I got my Pre two days ago and in my App Catalog (I live in Germany) there are only 64 apps showing up - all the nice apps you are talking about here are missing. ;-(

I don't really get I why there are regional differences ... but right now I kind of regret getting a Pre over an IPhone.

It took iPhone nearly 2 years to have 50 thousand apps. Most of the jailbroken 1st gen iPhone had Apps ported once iPhone 3G came out. Palm Pre just come out for a week, give it time.

The Pre is currently working on it's own app store just like the iphone has. They will soon have an equal if not MORE apps as the iphone. There are also 3rd party apps you can get but no worries, the Pre apps store will be opening soon!! Probably by the end of the summer or early next year.
