I don't like it when people call these kingdom hears games fillers. Fillers don't have plot development. But if you miss one of these games you'll miss out on story and character development. If you miss a kingdom hearts game you'll be confused. If you miss a filler it'll be like nothing ever happened. Just because they don't have a number that doesn't mean that they're not important! Sorry for my rant. ;)
Besides, the only real annoyance is waiting for Versus XIII to be finished so KH3 can begin being made for PS3. Anything later than 2013 would be aggravating to put up with, maybe E3 will tell us more details.
@cobra0528 I think hearing Destati suckers me into it since it's one of my favorite pieces from the series. I feel bad that I went and got a red 3DS while a more die hard fan such as yourself is without one. If I lived relatively close to you, I'd loan mine no problem. With localization/potential added content, might not see the game here at least until summer/fall. Don't fret, KH3 is next for sure. Story wouldn't add up without these other games first and Versus 13 for PS3 engine.

So that begs the questions: Why not just put it on the PSP? or Why not ALSO release it on the PSP? Makes no sense. I don't want a 3DS. Not worth getting a system for one game.
The 3DS is more powerful than a Wii, which in turn is more powerful than a PS2(the most powerful system to currently have a Kingdom Hearts game released on it). How could the 3DS not be a good fit?

Of course. It's been about 2 years since the last PS2 game was released. It will likely be PS3 only though, since I honestly don't think most 360 users will care. After all, it's not a shooter.

From what I've gleaned from interviews & such, I think that the 3D game is mostly the Mark of Mastery exam. The whole saving-people thing will be KH3, or at least that's the current plan.
I have mixed feelings on Coded...the varying battle systems was fun, but moving Sora around could be really frustrating, especially with those freaking disappearing and bouncy blox. I also agree that the end is the only non-useless part of the story.
Did you guys know that not only will there be a 3ds version (dream drop distance) but another birth by sleep (like volume two or something)? Now I love and purchase every kingdom hearts game but I think speaking for everyone when I say Bring Out Kingdom Hearts 3! (On playstation)

Yeah, that was announced just a few days before I made this video. Bad timing because I just assumed it wouldn't have changed in the short time that I hadn't looked into it. I suppose there were smaller announcements hinting at that even sooner, but it seems as though I missed them in my research.

Kingdom hearts on the PS2 was the first PS2 game I got. And that's why (in my opinion) Kingdom hearts is meant to be on a Playstation.
The second one was also a great game and it was also on the PS2. That's why I think that Kingdom Hearts 3 should be on the PS2 and an optional version for the PS3.

Hmm...I'm not sure I trust that. It wouldn't be a smart move to end it at 3. There's a lot more story to tell. Also, I think that would be big news and I am having trouble finding anything relating to an announcement like that. Well with Final Fantasy it's always a different story. Hardly even a series. With Kingdom Hearts, not only is it one story, but it's a story that links back into itself over and over until it becomes the most complicated weave that the world has seen. One that only few take the time to sit down and try to understand. There we have our die hards.
I wasn't really planning on doing any more PS2 reviews and I was especially planning to not get any more PS2 games so I'm going to say that it's not likely. I did review The Legend of Jack Sparrow at one point though.
dude the ds has some good visuals, pokemon black and white for example, the cut scenes are amazing, considering the ds of course, and the battles and graphics are actually really good, not saying that the ds doesnt have games with shitty graphics, but there are a few that stand out

In the story you play though only 5 worlds. 4-normal, 1-final 2.In the 5th world ,not to spoil anything, the gameplay/way you fight is EXTREMLY FURUSTRATING!!! and I'm playing on Critical so it's even more stressful as it is!! If you don't know what I am talking about then watch a playthrough or ask someone who's beaten the game.
u kno wat square enix should really do: stop doing remakes and get 2 the actual story! 1, 2, and 3, that's how it should go; instead they go 1, 1.5, 2, 1.5 Re:, backstory, bak story 4 cell phone, and back story 2! god! i think they do this personally because they cant come up with better stories and until they do, they throw remakes at us!

I wasn't really planning on doing any more PS2 reviews and I was especially planning to not get any more PS2 games so I'm going to say that it's not likely. I did review The Legend of Jack Sparrow at one point though.

dude the ds has some good visuals, pokemon black and white for example, the cut scenes are amazing, considering the ds of course, and the battles and graphics are actually really good, not saying that the ds doesnt have games with shitty graphics, but there are a few that stand out

I'm fucking sick and tired of them putting each new game on a different system. I'm always having to buy a DS which I don't even want. Kingdom Hearts III better come out on PS3. I heard that it won't come out before 2012 :(

I'm almost positive that the epic end recoded had is leading to 3DS :( :( What do they have against quality graphics!?! And I'm not a fan of tiny screens, at least with my PSP I could hook it up to my TV :/

u kno wat square enix should really do: stop doing remakes and get 2 the actual story! 1, 2, and 3, that's how it should go; instead they go 1, 1.5, 2, 1.5 Re:, backstory, bak story 4 cell phone, and back story 2! god! i think they do this personally because they cant come up with better stories and until they do, they throw remakes at us!

I liked it, and I am sort of glad I didn't go through every world referenced in KH1. I really liked the mix in gameplay some worlds offered.
Well, when you're done with BBS, you may want to check out some of the Final Mix stuff. In particular, the secret ending of the Final Mix version.

sorry to break it to ya... but Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance (3D... how cleaver >__>) is gonna be, from what I heard, leading off of the Re:coded game now now I know you hate 3D... and you really dont like DS... but thing is the 3DS has an off switch for the 3D... besides that the 3DS is said to have better graphics from the PSP and the PS2. though that may not seem so amazing considering you got a PS3, it pretty good for handheld games. I say if you see a person with a 3DS Check it out

Yeah, Birth by Sleep for the PSP. I'm half way through it. It looks sooo much better than the DS. Not excited for KH3D, but at least it will look better than these games.

As an intense KH fan I would FLIP OUT if it goes to 3D as well.
What's comming up is WAY TOO BIG too be on the Ds like you said, I would overfilled with joy if KH III is what comes next after. 3D
