I think it's cute the way she says "isn't it?" in the strangest places...! I've been learning Korean over 20 years but I learned something from this since I never have visited an American style fast food place in Korea.
I think her comments in the beginning of the video are not necessary. People who really want to learn through these video series will skip to the lesson.
. If your confused, hamburger is broke down like ham-bu-guh. So There is not a Korean word for hamburger. it is just broken down to ham-buh-guh. Just like your name, john in Korean is pronounced (john). Chicken can be said chi-ken. but there are words where it will not be pronounced in this broken down form and instead the Korean form. 화이팅아가시!
im half korean and studied in korea for 2 years at yonsei. she doesnt speak the best english, but i can tell she has learned a lot. Since the culture is a lot different, there are many different sayings americans will mock and make fun of. She is not making fun of america for being picky, she is giving a true example. So don't try to judge her and understand the concept of this video. This is only for ppl trying to learn korean
@MasterOfTheThump yes, the point is to learn Korean, but it is quite distracting when the teacher is attempting to be analogous and her analogies are inaccurate.
I'm learning korean and. I think her english is great. Thanks for the lesson.
