@darkstar3x16 He was indeed measured in 1969 by Vince Basilli at 6'1.75" and he was genuinely huge and tall back in the 80s, 90s and early part of 2000s. He used to tower over everyone except someone who was 6'4" - 6'5" like Lou Ferrigno who was only a couple of inches taller.

He has aged a lot and with all the heavy lifting and not staying active, he has lost a lot of height due to "compression" of spine. He is no more than 5'11.5" today. He broke a few bones in ski accident as well

@SpeedKlz I am going to have to disagree with you on that measurement, I met Arnold many times as he used to frequent my fathers place of business in Santa Monica, CA and at most he was 6'0" my brother and I took determined that he was between 5'11" - 6'0" At the time my brother and I were 5'11" and Arnold was a hair taller.

I remember him being a gentleman who always smiled and seemed to enjoy life. He had presence when he walked into a room which made him look taller.

@SpeedKlz One last item worth mentioning is that at the time of Arnold's competition days most body builders were shorter, guys like Danny Padilla were barely over 5'0" tall, Columbo was probably in the 5'5" range, Dickerson also 5'5" range Frank Zane about 5'8" the Mentzer brothers approximately 5'8" also.

Arnold at 5'11" - 6'0" would have toward over most of the bodybuilders at the time which gave the illusion that he was taller than his actual height.
