its not a custom conversion like you guys think.Mallet is a tuner that you send the car to and its like a 30,000 dollar upgrade, engine 6.0 ls2, suspension, transmission and brakes. The car is bad ass but the guy driving keeps pussy footing it around!
that is a very pricey conversion, but even so, i know it all feels worth it once its done lol...so what kind of suspension setup do they use? i heard it was similar to the corvette's. Oh and do they swap the PCM and wiring harnesses for the the ones in the C6 or is it just some kind of tune?
Yes I bought the base model. So I had to special order the rear panel for the dual exhaust also since the base only comes with one side cut out. I also put big brakes all around and a 3.73 differential. It wasn't cheap...but so fun to drive!!!
@leapy44 did you have any problem with weight distribution ? i mean is the ls engine heavier than the ecotec because there are some 4 cylinder engines that weight a lot and did u change engine mounts ?? i think convertin a sky into a v8 has to be difficult
Did you have it done at Mallet, or just a Copycat? Mallet has some sick combinations as well. Fairly reasonably priced vs. a Vette.

I had a Corvette LS2 V8 engine put in. And added Corsa exhaust pipes. It is 400 hp and I love it!!

Was it a base Sky to begin with? I guess it would be a major waste to buy a Red Line then do the LS2 conversion, haha.
