  • I made a video of me playing guitar and didn't want to sing in that same vid cause it sounded different. I went onto imovie and wanted to voiceover the whole singing part but whenever i pt a voiceover part the guitar playing would go quiet after i put it in...how do imake the guitar part not go quiet when im doing a voiceover?

  • Thank you for doing this, helped a lot with my Media Coursework!

  • Way to make an 30 second clip an 8 minute clip.

  • Is there anyway to do this without keynote? Like straight from iMovie?

  • not to be mean but u take a minute to do one step, i know it would be easier for us to learn, but we're not stupid, get to the point

  • @becmyheartisnohio what I do is I put the same picture/text over and over until I finish the VoiceOver

    Like this:

    I'm talking about a box(I love boxes I don't know why)

Then the slideshow comes along and talks about skulls (I love skulls I DO know why)

And I'm still talking about boxes

I just repeat the same text or picture or whatever I have there for what I'm focusing on, until I'm done talking about it. Then I just put the other text or pic or whatever and then I talk about tue skulls.

  • thx so much bru:D

  • This might be a dumb question, but do I need a microphone to record a voice over? I'm using a Mac but my monitor is a Samsung. I'm literally clueless:)

  • you are my hero!!!

  • Helped ALOT!

  • What do I do when the video is short but I have to do a little bit longer voice over? Please reply!

  • how do I do this same thing with imovie 09? because I cant select the "set duration" option and therefore my voiceover (which i need to be 30 seconds long) only lasts until the end of my pictures...

  • @jsuggestive When i looked at mine, it didn't have that either but when you have the clip it shows the duration and a gear in a blue box click that and then hit clip adjustments.

  • Thanks!!! This helped me a lot!
