Revis is hands down the best corner in the league. He's 4 years younger than Nnamdi and 7 years younger than champ and he's shutting down everyone. Nnamdi is just awful this year definatly not what he used to be. While Champ is a very good corner, you're not gonna find one as young and as good as Revis.
This year is definitely not his best year...I would say 2 years ago(Rex's first year as HC) was his best. He might not have had the INTs but he shut every receiver down for 10 or under yds. Amazing probably the greatest year by a corner ever. Still Revis is probably #1 in shutdown corners of all time(yes better than Primetime because Revis makes open field tackles).

It's hard NOT to argue that Revis in his prime, like he is right now, is not equal to Sanders, or even better. QB ratings against Revis in his prime (this year) is 3.2, the next best is against Jonathon Joseph with 47.0 QB rating. The fact he already has three interceptions is also incredible

He let up one catch to dez on a back shoulder fade which is almost impossible to stop if you don't know its going to be that. dez didn't get a single catch after that first drive either and he just had cramps that should've been fixed by halftime so revis shut him done for a whole half so to answer your question i'd probably say kobe just so you know.

I'm a huge patriots fan, from new orleans but have been a fan of the patriots since after their first superbowl (win) and a fan of the saints for my entire life, And I came here to watch some awesome clips of the best cornerback in the nfl. He's not far and away the best, there are aspects that other corners beat him, but overall he's simply the best shut down corner. i love how all these people say revis is garbage when most NFL qbs know 80% of the time to throw AWAY from him. The thing about revis is he may not make a lot of interceptions but thats because his coverage, which is textbook physical coverage not pass interference, is impeccable. if his assignment isnt open the qb wont throw it therefore less ints. It's hard NOT to argue that Revis in his prime, like he is right now, is not equal to Sanders, or even better. The fact that he has led the league in "burn rate" (the lowest completion percentage when QBs throw to him) in 2009, 2010 and soon to be 2011 is incredible. He has also shown the ability to perform in the playoffs, shutting down Ochocinco, Wayne and Gates/Jackson (he split time covering the two and only gave up one reception the whole game). @coldgriphandle revis prevents his assignment from doing anything just about every time cromartie was on dez for the opening drive not revis. He let up one catch to dez on a back shoulder fade which is almost impossible to stop if you don't know its going to be that. dez didn't get a single catch after that first drive either and he just had cramps that should've been fixed by halftime so revis shut him done for a whole half so to answer your question i'd probably say kobe just so you know.

He had 40 more tackles than revis and 3 more ints. just because you dont hear a guy being called a shut down player on ESPN every day doesnt mean they arent superb players. And all those corners are better than revis in dfferent ways.
