I used chalk! Or... as the pro's would call it: Pastel!! (not the oily pastel but the chalky stuff) HEHE!! you can buy it in all hobby stores. Just ask for pastel! ) But.. if ya wanna try it out i'd suggest you to buy a fixation spray as well.. use the spray when you are finished, so that the chalk doesnt smudge or disappeare! ;)

Hehehehe!! I taped my camcorder to my lamp... my lamp is one of those that can bend in whichever direction i want, so i had it bent over my sheet of paper. Then i zoomed in slightly and tried to keep my head away from the camera!! (which is a tough thing to do.. hehe)

True but tracing doesnt really require any skill right xD? And how do you determine where the helplines etc come :)? Or do you just watch a lot of pictures and then youll have an idea of where you need to draw the eyes in the circle:)?

making helplines is kind of difficult. First of all, the body proportions must be accurate, and secondly; you must follow the "rules of manga". XD!!! These rules i've learnt from reading "how to draw manga books" and just reading manga. For example: The rule of height: A manga person is usually as tall as 7 times the length of the head. A manga person's upper arm is usually 1and1/2 times the length of the head. Lol!! There are many rules like these to remember when drawing helplines XD!!! XD!!
