even as an afflic lock i dont need fear much. Only use it in BGs to crowd fear (HoT). Otherwise afflic with felhunter doesnt require fear just Dots Toungues and Drain Life. Gonna go SL/SL at 70 : )

Well atm, i'm actually part destro, demo/destro, my gear isn't quite made for destro (since it's high crit) but pretty sure i can still work it if you want full destro (shadowfury) lemme know, otherwise i'll stick with what i got (SL/Ruin) and it'll take a bit, my new server hates pvp, dueling, etc etc, but try to find some of the better geared players for it :)

End of the day, me personally, i can destroy any other spec'd lock in any other gear (yes even full arena gear 's3 or not' sl/sl) as my normal pvp/demo build, atm i'm affil for farming for friends an all, i've found out it blows if you have any melee on you, they rip threw you like butter. Destro is based off high crit chance and/or crazy high damage, i'm averaging about 1.3k shadow (always... ALWAYS have a trinket going, lil over 1,050 shadow without it) so either way.
Tech it's one fear, deathcoil is a weak CC, if anything and is classified as a "Horrify" not fear (dont ask me, ask bliz) Fear is dif for the reason you have to cast, and 2) it can break with damage, and lasts longer, with imp Shadow bolt (or even as destro/affil) i could Deathcoil, shadow burn, shadowbolt, and shadowbolt again (if i had like nightfall from affil going) or
Immolate (or conflag if immo is up there already) or shadowfury... without ANY worry of Deathcoil breakin, but with fear i couldnt, i know it's break :)... thats always a bit of a "misconception"

"only class that needs to cast".... ya, you're also the only class that can spec pom pyro and get an easy 3k combined with fire blast, also the only class that can spec so stuff like arcane missiles is insane damage like 1.5k non crit a hit and almost impossible to interupt... and Fyi, locks get ONE instant cast without spec, Curse of agony, a dot.. Corruption is 5 points, shadow bolt is 2.5 sec with improved, immolate is 1.5 with improved.
Shadowburn is destro spec.... Fireblast, Icelance, Cone of Cold, Frost nova, Arcane Explosion, all non spec trained instant cast. spec, fire wave or w/e, dragons breathe, and even pyro if you get pom.... so yaaaaa
yeah but its a whole different game with affliction spec because you don't get high crits or felguard... it's hard but can kick destro/demon ass if you know how to play it.

I thought this was good, since that's how I roll. I'm a Lock too, Demo specced with a little bit of Aff for improvements. Fire Mages are pretty easy to own just because their best cast (IMO, Idc about what you think about it...) has a 2min CD and that's kinda lame -_- Try and get a Frost Mage down and get a vid of it. Those give you a definate run for your money. I'd be proud xD Keep doin what you're doin though, good job.
lol well now, been long into 70, nothing bothers me, frost mages make me lol, cause if they start the duel with teh pet, fg charges them, i banish the pet, the immo them, if not, and they bust it later, i just deal with it til they ice block then banish it. They're all quiet easy.

Well, you beat the shit out of them, That's very logical. Look again your movie the Mage where crap players, and didnt know how to play against a warlock, Didnt even saw 1 sheep going on you. And if you think a 3 minute mage is SO good and imba. Go and play A Full Frost Shatter Mage. ThAT'S imba not Pom spec.
The reason that no1 sheeps is on my server ppl know better, trinket woulda removed it, he does it again, it's down to 6 secs with the Felguard on him that 2.5 sec fireball turns into about 6secs do to cleave and auto attack not to mention pyro woulda been unthinkable besides that as i said my server doesnt rely on stupid shit like that usually. it's better to just focus straight on the person, without a "cc" unless it's from an outside source
hence fear=nooby y fear when u can use Searing pain, high crit chance, but a lot of agro hence good in pvp bad in instance. oh, and that 1.5 sec sheep cast, woulda still been about 3 secs or so so i still woulda gotten off another Shadow bolt and/or searing pain :)

ok, just stating it you all seem to be talking about sheeping and shit (well at least a few) I had on pvp trink, would dispelled, and all 3 dots were on by the time she woulda had it off, and fyi, with the FG on them, that 1.5 turns into about a 4 sec cast, so 3 dots, and 1 SB WHILE pvp trink out, reapply dot's sheep again, and yeah, woulda died with fg and dots, so it woulda been a waste cause that 6 sec cast is like 12 with fg on you

at that lvl, I woulda had to use the felhound, and probably more then 1 fear, but yea, not a stupid lock, now a days no class really matters to me, even full s3 sl/sl locks i can beat and my lock has SHIT for resil (like 100 IF THAT)... It's Skill>gear fyi

End of the day, me personally, i can destroy any other spec'd lock in any other gear (yes even full arena gear 's3 or not' sl/sl) as my normal pvp/demo build, atm i'm affil for farming for friends an all, i've found out it blows if you have any melee on you, they rip threw you like butter. Destro is based off high crit chance and/or crazy high damage, i'm averaging about 1.3k shadow (always... ALWAYS have a trinket going, lil over 1,050 shadow without it) so either way.

Tech it's one fear, deathcoil is a weak CC, if anything and is classified as a "Horrify" not fear (dont ask me, ask bliz) Fear is dif for the reason you have to cast, and 2) it can break with damage, and lasts longer, with imp Shadow bolt (or even as destro/affil) i could Deathcoil, shadow burn, shadowbolt, and shadowbolt again (if i had like nightfall from affil going) or

"only class that needs to cast".... ya, you're also the only class that can spec pom pyro and get an easy 3k combined with fire blast, also the only class that can spec so stuff like arcane missiles is insane damage like 1.5k non crit a hit and almost impossible to interupt... and Fyi, locks get ONE instant cast without spec, Curse of agony, a dot.. Corruption is 5 points, shadow bolt is 2.5 sec with improved, immolate is 1.5 with improved.

Shadowburn is destro spec.... Fireblast, Icelance, Cone of Cold, Frost nova, Arcane Explosion, all non spec trained instant cast. spec, fire wave or w/e, dragons breathe, and even pyro if you get pom.... so yaaaaa

I thought this was good, since that's how I roll. I'm a Lock too, Demo specced with a little bit of Aff for improvements. Fire Mages are pretty easy to own just because their best cast (IMO, Idc about what you think about it...) has a 2min CD and that's kinda lame -_- Try and get a Frost Mage down and get a vid of it. Those give you a definate run for your money. I'd be proud xD Keep doin what you're doin though, good job.

lol well now, been long into 70, nothing bothers me, frost mages make me lol, cause if they start the duel with teh pet, fg charges them, i banish the pet, the immo them, if not, and they bust it later, i just deal with it til they ice block then banish it. They're all quiet easy.

The reason that no1 sheeps is on my server ppl know better, trinket woulda removed it, he does it again, it's down to 6 secs with the Felguard on him that 2.5 sec fireball turns into about 6secs do to cleave and auto attack not to mention pyro woulda been unthinkable besides that as i said my server doesnt rely on stupid shit like that usually. it's better to just focus straight on the person, without a "cc" unless it's from an outside source

hence fear=nooby y fear when u can use Searing pain, high crit chance, but a lot of agro hence good in pvp bad in instance. oh, and that 1.5 sec sheep cast, woulda still been about 3 secs or so so i still woulda gotten off another Shadow bolt and/or searing pain :)

I know this might sound stupid but i was a lvl 14 mage and my friend was lvl 17 warlock and i beat him. ok, just stating it you all seem to be talking about sheeping and shit (well at least a few) I had on pvp trink, would dispelled, and all 3 dots were on by the time she woulda had it off, and fyi, with the FG on them, that 1.5 turns into about a 4 sec cast, so 3 dots, and 1 SB WHILE pvp trink out, reapply dot's sheep again, and yeah, woulda died with fg and dots, so it woulda been a waste cause that 6 sec cast is like 12 with fg on you
