The exterior shots were filmed at Torrance High School. Beverly Hills doesn't even have a high school, the one called Beverly Hills High is actually in Century City, ala Los Angeles. And most of this cast were in their 20's or even 30's (Gabrielle). For a full-on stomach wrenching show try watching the new one. They are all supposed to be 14-17 years old but are obviously in their 20's - 30's.

Replaced by the season 2 music. The season 1 music on the first couple of episodes sounded more like the theme from "Trapper John, M.D." (a 1979-86 M*A*S*H spinoff) for those in the know.

808wonderboy is correct. this was not the original pilot theme.. the original one was the one they used throughout season 1. (i taped this show as a kid).

but perhaps they later changed the theme after the series went into syndication? not sure, but the reason i suspect this is that when i watched it again in reruns they substituted the music for the theme from the later seasons. donno why though, i liked the S1 music!
