Thought the guy in this film was entirely miscast. His "posh english" accent was terrible! I'm English and believe me nobody here speaks like that! And he was a very wooden actor who paled in comparison to Gael Garcia Bernal even though the latter was playing a bit of a doofus. Liked the old couple though they were very sweet.

I have to be honest. I am NOT a romantic movie lover. at all. But, my mom really wanted to see this so I agreed to go with her just to make her happy. I ended up LOVING this movie. Amanda Seyfried did a great job and the ending was perfect. Go see it! If I enjoyed it, then regular chick flick watchers sure will :)

This was such a wonderful movie. The wonderful thing about it, for me, was not just the love story, but how perfectly natural everything was. Yes, there were funny moments and there were sad moments, but it was just like real life. There was no over-dramatic moments. It was just real. And I loved that =) Although my friends teased me because I was pretty much like this for the entire movie: X3 lol!

I saw this movie, and it was fun. There was a major flaw in the casting, though, because Christopher Egan just doesn't fit in here. You want to like him, but in the back of your mind, you can't help wondering if Victor is the better choice for Sophie, because Charlie is portrayed as such a sniveling twit.
