Ahhh... 1:04 EXACTLY what I was looking for --an ideal transition from Gemini to Hip Hold. I just started practicing a few minutes ago...getting real frustrated and was searching around with "HIP HOLD" in the search engine. This is the perfect transition, too. Can't believe this vid got by me....must've been when I was on summer vacation. Beautifu video, Azriel. Going to fave it and work this move!!!

thanks joel! the hip hold was a painful one for me to learn. You can also go into it from the inverted crucifix ( i show it in my latest vid), just as easily as from the gemini. Good luck with it, don't forget to engage your abs & use your armpit! xoxo

Doing it the "Athena" drop method (from inverted crucifix to the hip hold) was how I tried it in my last video...it proved to be a little to hard for me. But I just finished editing the Gemini way...based on what Isaw you do...and Ihope I get it uploaded in a few minutes. It'll be part II of the video. Part I was my attempt at the Cupid--no success yet with THAT one yet! But the hip hold was "so-so." I got a few decent ones, I think...

Love Love Love it! I've always enjoyed watching your vids. I just wrote down the cradle to the butterfly. I should try that cause I can do the butterfly from standing but its scary. I actually like that song and all of the dancing was great along with the end move.
