you got that backwards, he is left handed on the GCN version (as well as all the other Zelda games) it was made right handed on the Wii version because there is a majority of right handed people in this world (i don't own a wii, so i don't know if you are able to change the settings to right/left hand, or how this effects the way Link looks in the game) not to mention the map is also flipped in the wii version (sorry about how long this reply turned out)

the game was originally for the gamecube. when they decided to make it playable on the wii they wanted Link to be right handed(he was originally a lefty) because most people are right handed and with the wii remote sword, it would be easier. they were too lazy to go and remake the whole game and make him right-handed so they just mirrored the entire game instead

@dfosness71 No, it's quite the opposite. Twilight Princess was made for Wii first, then they switch because 10% of the world's population is lefty. So they switch it and made it to Gamecube so both lefty and righty could play the game without problems.

Why would TP for Wii come first? Because it was made first! :)
