Really fantastic Thriller with interesting storyline and great acting. Julia Roberts shines here. She ruled in the 90's. Denzel Washington was impressive. The 90's had so many awesome thrillers - this one, The Firm (1993), Single White Female (1993), Terminal Velocity (1994), The Net (1995), Copycat (1995), The Assassination File (1996), City Hall (1996), Smilla's Sense of Snow (1996), Shadow Conspiracy (1997), Cop Land (1997), The Replacement Killers (1998) and many many more. I miss that era

when she said she sold shoes on 72nd & broadway i smiled b/c this old housemate i had when i lived on 70th & amsterdam said Julia used to work couple of blocks up.

I think the first time Julia appeared on Letterman was 1989, when she was promoting Steel Magnolias. In an interview with Dave in the late 90's, she and Dave both talked about her first visit, but they said there was no video of that interview. I wish someone had it and would post it on youtube. I love Dave and Julia together. They have such great chemistry together.

Julia is so self-absorbed with herself in the monitor, she only looks at herself instead of David on occasion. Its so embarrassing to see someone who gets a lot of attention, still need to constantly watch themselves in the TV screens on show...All you have to do is watch her and you will see how much she stares at herself and almost loses her train of thought cause she's so consumed with her own image...WOW!!! take a break Julia!
