  • Your art is so amazing!!!!

Thumbs up for you! Thumbs down for cancer....

  • what a profound misunderstanding of cancer and its cure...

  • Yeah obviously if you use natural remedies you may still survive, but you would have survived anyway. In a very small number of cases cancer goes into remission for no reason at all, unfortunately people who chose holistic medicines only look at the people that survived and not at the overwhelming number of people who didn't. Herbal remedies are fine when you've got the flu or a stomach bug or something, but a terminal illness is not the time to put faith in granola.

  • It's natural selection kill off the stupid

  • let me guess, you must work for a pharmacutical company or some spec of a goverment agency. That explains why you are so smart, or wait, no, you must be one of those people that think you are God. Wow, cool, I have a request for u. god can you make the owner of this video have cancer so he can then endure chemo to get well or better yet a family member, hows that? What if it were you...hmmmm interesting now isn't it? Chemo is NO GUARANTEE I work in a hospital. Chemo KILLS just verrry slowly

  • Anyone who has, or knows anyone with cancer should look into Gerson Therapy.

It's a proven alternative to chemotherapy that involves detoxification and change in diet.

  • very nice

  • its the fact that its a kid and his parents are forcing the decision upon him. Whether or not the kid believes in his religion, he was raised in that religion so he does not have any other views. Yet another reason why religious freedom can cause trouble.

  • That's interesting, man.

I dunno what to think about it.

But it's cool what you did with the art.

  • thats cool dude.

that family is stupid, i believe from a personal opinion. my boyfriend had this, and did not get treatment becuzhe felt it was time for him to go. he died of this. but even with treatment, my grandfather still died of this, but it all depends on what stage u start out on. my grandpa started on 4, the worst, and my bf started on 3. so if this kid has either one of those, he will most likely die pretty soon. but they r unwise to not stop it this early. prayer did no good for me.

  • Not always the case. Stages depend on extent of the surgical margins, how many lymph nodes involved, distant metastases, etc. Lymphoma responds to chemo and XRT excellently in almost 90% of cases. Recurrence is the biggest concern.

  • Oooh, you've outdone yourself with this one.

  • Cool. Just sad.

  • okay, usually I see comments about "Wow! great work phil, do some more!" and all these complements. but this..

its some sorta chatroom on whats right and whats not.

  • jooeyyjn -

    you suck

  • i like both

  • Funny how religion can be cast away whenever it is convienent for the doctors? As long as the doctor MAKES money its cool if he/she doesnt she gets the courts involved. For example a jehovah witness brings their child to the ER and refuses the blood that the doctor thinks the child needs, oops he doesnt make money ! lets call the 24 hour judge ! and forces the transfusion, the parent cant refuse any more but then, if the parent wants to cut up a boys genitals its ok the doctor makes money !

  • I am a mother of a son who surived brain cancer using alternative healing modalities. He is now a healthy 21 year old young man. We were fortunate, in that the chemotherapy protocol we were perscribed was in pill form and so we put it away up high above the refrigerator and did our alternative healing routine. We were ready though to escape with passports to go to a safe place incase we were found out.

  • excellent work. familiar with g. edward griffin's work on cancer?

  • No, I do not know of edward griffen's work. It was a very scary thing deciding to go alternative in the healing of my son. The cancer had spread into four areas of his brain. The Essiac tea, colonic therapy, fresh juicing,, energy work, and radionics all worked. We used lots of herbs and diet changes.

  • you do realize that you are smack talking the people he was talking about on a video that will probably never be seen by the family in question.

  • completely ignorant statement... and to say the child has a 90% chance of survival w/ chemo and radiation is an overstatement... how long the kid will live is unknowable and the success of the treatment is on a case by case basis only.

  • He recieved one cycle of chemotherapy and had a wonderful response to it before he and his mother took off. That signifies a high likelihood that the child will succeed with TX and have a 90% chance of living.

  • Not a very happy looking family....

  • The problem is the government deciding to take control from parents who have looked at the options and made the unpopular choice.

  • controversy... dialogue... Now that is what I call ART

Congrats Phil. Awesome work on a touchy subject.

    What's next?

  • wow thank you, I'm going to have nightmares all week....

with that said, that was brilliant! pure guinius.

  • just another misinformed video about a family who has lost their American freedoms. If this is allowed to continue, who is next? who wants an armed guard outside their door to make sure chemo torment shows you who has the tyrannical power.

  • that comment was meant in reply to someone but I dont think it worked as that sorry....it wont make sense to anyone else heh

  • 1. You Tube ... 'Leave Him Alone'

  • You certainly do get people to talk about things. Great job!

  • that was pretty freaking cool. cancer sucks. ive lost 3 people to it.

  • phil, i've been a viewer of you art for about a year now and i've got to say you going dull you need something big, something catchy you should write a movie or something take your art to new hights

  • So... what are you trying to say exactly with this X-ray, Phil?

  • I don't think anyone should be forced to do something. If I had cancer I would leave it in the hands of God. I've lived a good life.

  • I love what you say here, not as an empty belief but a trust in existence that can actually be lived! I've found that we have removed ourselves from this trust and are now looking to mother culture (science, man, etc...) for all the answers.

  • Thank you for that.

  • Its always an easy decision to put your child through chemo therapy - the alternative is no child.

  • no one should be forced into chemo. I agree with jdw. its the law of attraction. it sounds horrible to say that someone caused their own cancer, you shutter at the idea, but somewhere along the line subconsciously it was attracted to them and I do believe it can be cured the same way and with holistic methods rather than chemo. The drug companies want you to be sick thats how they make their money. Its why I dont vaccinate my kid either...pumping someone full of chemicals is absurd.

  • You are talking out of your ASS.

You dont vaccinate your kid because you are ignorant and unable to understand the benefits far outweigh any risks. Its either that or you are sceptical of them "elite doctors making all the money"...

    /sigh

Get your child vaccinated - he will thank you when he doesn't go blind from measles.

  • Im 25 the oldest of 5 kids attended public schools all my life none of us have ever been vaccinated. Homeopathy is about preventative medicine I dont get sick is because I take natural precautions as not to Diseases of any kind cannot live in an alkaline environment Vaccines, antibiotics, drugs. all these things destroy the immune system I respect your opinion but it is my personal/spiritual/philosophical choice not to put chemicals in mine or my child's body whenever I can avoid it.

  • No you didn't get sick while not being vaccinated because you "played the numbers" - until the % of people unvaccinated drops below a threshold there isn't enough people viable to start an outbreak.

Diseases can't live in alkaline environment - what are you talking about? NORMAL BLOOD IS (weakly) ALKALINE.

You have no clue how vaccines, antibiotics, etc work and so I can't respect your opinion on the matter since it is uninformed. Sad state of affairs for someone to be so poorly informed..

  • site your sources when you use quotes.

  • an alkaline state means your acidic levels are normal. Most peoples are not.

And I have done extensive research over my life time on vaccines and antibiotics, as I am an assistant to a doctor in a natural clinic. So yes, I do have a pretty good idea of how they work which is why I stay away from them. Where does your education come from?

  • Oh wow, so you think I get ill because my blood alkalinity is not normal hence allowing infection... Anyway.

So your research discovered vaccines don't work? Please this is idiotic - of course they work. How do you think the WHO eradicated smallpox?

You are basically saying that germ theory is incorrect here...

Antibiotics can be proven to work both in the lab and in straightforward clinical studies. Look at WW2 - it was a great testament to how effective they are.

  • My education? Not that it matters - a high school biology class easily refutes your claims, but... I will soon be starting a PhD (hopefully) focusing on the intersection of mathematical modelling, computational neurophysiology and mathematical complexity. I have no formal training in microbiology - though as I said you hardly need to be a medical Dr to read the journals and discover REAL science with REAL results for healthcare that are discovered everyday...

  • I think everyone has to do whats right for them. Im not here to attack anyone's beliefs or choices. This is what works for me and my family. I do not deny that traditional medicine works, I just know that it comes with needless consequences and side effects. I can see that we will not agree on the issue and thats ok. I wish you good health and peace. Take care.

  • Fair enough. Though I can't agree that everyone has to do what is right for them - in some issues the choice is clear and only mis-informed people see a controversy.

I to hope you and your family stay healthy. Laters :)

  • Finally ! someone that has the same viewpoint as me, though im in a different "controversy" I belive that if it works for you Great ! but since it worked for you it doesnt AUTOMATICALLY HAVE TO work for me.

Take medications for example I have a high tolorance to pain meds so my dose/drug has to be high to be effective yet a friend takes one tylenol 3 and is knocked out cold and sleeps for a very long period of time, i take it and its like eating M&M's

  • Chemo just plain sucks. I've been through it 3 times, and let me tell you, I will never do it again. The last time I was so sick that I finally resorted to pot to alleviate some of the side effects of the chemo. It worked, yeah! I do not smoke now, it was just a one time thing. Though because of the many times that I've had chemo my cognitive brain function has decreased substantially. I don't know if it's right to force a child into having chemo or not. Both can be damaging. Great video Phil

  • I really liked that piece. I get a kick out of the contrast between the "X-ray" (perceived like dangerous in popular culture) image and the life of the boy. More so than the obvious contrast between the two pictures (even if context would be lost without it).

  • hoo, this one wasw kind of risky. i liked it, but damn, you really push it to the edge.ha

  • Finally got time to watch this new one. Great job again, reminds me of the goodbye art where you used the sand and made the picture of the soilder.

  • you've done quite a few of these xray pictures. how does it work? whats the idea?

    pls explain ^^

  • very good, 5/5

  • hmm

  • beatiful art yet again.

keep amazing people with your art =)

  • absolutely brilliant!

  • 25 years ago, a doctor told my mom she needed chemo. She said no. They gave her Tamoxifen instead. She is cancer free today. I told my oncological NP this, and her answer was that my mom should have had chemo. It is that stuck in the heads of the medical people...they can look at someone who did fine without it and still say they should not have skipped it. They are so closed to alternatives. If they would study them, one may hold the key to beating cancer without toxicity.

  • They DO study them. It takes years and years to do the tests though before they are able to be used in real life. Also if anything had been found thats benifits out way the risks more than chemo it would be used. Doctors are people too they wont think, oh yes this person would survive better with this but im just guna give them chemo to make them suffer. Plus just because it worked for someone dosnt mean it will work for the majority of people.

  • I know drs are people, and I have a very good PCP who is working with me to get my body back up to par, get my vitamin D up, and she is open to learning more about alternatives to drugs. My oncologist wants me on Arimidex, but I researched it very hard, and for now, I am going with what studies say works as well--diet and execise, and he is not pushing the subject. I am not against drs, but I do believe there is more harm than good in chemo, and I still say don't force it on people.

  • I think the judge forced it on the family because it was considered child abuse to kill a child by not getting treatment.

  • Y==Not taking chemotherapy is idiotic, but that doesn't mean he can;t take chemo therapy and help naturally replenish the cells he's losing in chemotherapy with natural cures

  • It is not idiotic. I takes a lot of strength to say no. Before I had cancer, I did not understand chemo. I tried it, and it was awful. I did a lot of research and have now come to a greater understanding of its toxicities and long term damage, as well as the way the statistics are skewed in its favor. There has to be a better way. I don't know if that's what this boy will get. But his parents don't want him blasted. Why can't they decide that? I just don't get it.

  • Yet here you are still typing only because of Chemo. Ironic...

Without Chemo I wouldn't have a good friend Martin(who's now leukemia free), my grandmother for another 5 years, or my girlfriends father. While it is aggressive & horrible for the patient, its also painful to go through watching it happen to someone you love. Denying him it is a death sentence...

  • Bolgernow, my chemo was adjuvant--meaning after my surgery, they could see no cancer in me, but decided in case any microscopic cells existed, I should have chemo. It almost killed me--I almost wasn't here BECAUSE of the chemo. After I quit chemo, I found recent studies disprove two of the three types they were giving me for my kind of cancer. My main benefit was sudden menopause, which could have been done surgically or through other, non chemo, drugs, without the damage I still have.

  • I don't stand against anyone who decides to take chemo. If it works for them, and they have a decently healthy longevity afterward, I am happy for them. But the point here is that it is not the cure-all people think, comes with great risks, and there are alternatives that do work--though I am not sure the mother in this case has found one of those. I just feel we should support people's decision to refuse something toxic and damaging if they don't want it. Even help them find alternatives.

  • Yes. But alternatives have side effects plus are not as effective. If they were then docters would use them!!

  • Actually, studies are showing some alternatives to chemo are as effective, depending on types and stages of cancer. They are more widely embraced in other countries, while America is clinging to chemo.

  • Comment removed

  • Your friend benefited (for now), while someone I knew died from an incurable leukemia she GOT from her adjuvant chemo for breast cancer. She could be here today if she refused chemo. The whole issue is not black and white. Chemo is not friendly--it is a monster unleased against another monster, and the battleground is your body, and you just hope you aren't crushed in the fight. If some don't want to be a battleground like that, it is their right. That's all I am saying. Bless you.

  • I can tell you this, no Chemo, done...

The results from "holistic" medicine are "let's hope for a miracle"...

  • Natural cures won't work well with the toxicities of chemo. Plus, it is plain hard to even get them down, with what chemo does to you. It is awful poison, and it can and does create havoc in your body. Natural cures are gentler and work with your body to support your immune system and balance everything. I am not saying his family is making a good natural choice, as I don't know about what they are choosing. But anyone should have the right to refuse chemo...it is not what you think it is.

  • No berry in the woods or nut from a tree will cure dis-ease, thought these things may help. It takes a LIFESTYLE CHANGE. We search for the magic pill and the fountain of youth which, sadly, aggravates our needless suffering. Sunlight+organic+light-heartedness/ forgiveness= dis-ease free.

  • Man jdw, you're surely full of yourself aren't you? So you believe you're not at risk? You'll never get cancer? you'll never get a disease?Seriously, your post is insulting to all the people who had cancer, like it was definately their fault. Stop with this esoteric bullshit and face reality. Where are the scientific, bulletproof studies, that show the positive effects of alternate methods to treat cancer?

  • Also, there is a part of us that needs to take responsability for what shows up. That is, to neither blame another, or be a victim for what has come about in life. I won't say I'll never get cancer, but I do not focus on what I do not want, I choose to focus on what I do want. And that is to be whole and well.

  • What I do know is that words can indeed be used as black magic. Sometimes we say and think things towards our selves and others that litterally harms every cell in our entire bodies. I understand people get offended, but this is a place to freely exchange our well-intentioned ideas that we hope can help. Visit Dr. Gary Null on the web, for specific info on that bullet-proof info you are searching for. Do you think wealthy drug companies want people to be aware of this?

  • so the stuff he is suggesting on his site may actually help a little, but there is no way that it would completely remove the risk of getting cancer. Also none of that stuff will help treat cancer.

Scientists have spent decades developing the drugs used to treat some of cancer, and have proven that they work.

Have you ever thought that Dr. Gary Null is also getting alot of money from people using his methods to treat diseases?

  • There seems to be so much resistance and very little ALLOWING. The thought of "I choose to be whole, happy, and at peace" is met by "This is my disease/ stress/ anxiety/ worry, and it belongs to me. It IS ME." We literally refuse to let it go because we falsely believe it is who we are. This is not a matter of science, doctors, chemo or pharmaceuticals, it is an innate Knowing and a trust that humans have forgotten. Ever meet a cat with premature ejaculation?

  • Creepy, yet awesome!

  • CANCER CURE = HEMP OIL

Rick Simpson's Cancer Cure Hemp Oil is Cannabis extract full of Cannabinoids (including THC).

Dr. Robert Melamede ... "Cannabinoids kill Cancer Cells"

Dr. Liu ..."THC can kill Cancer Cells"

Dr. Di Marzo ... "THC exhibits anti - tumor effects on various Cancer Cell types"

  • Great creative result, Phil! Religion is synonym to obstacle. In this case it shows how religion really kills.

  • the court is willing to listen to someone under the age of deciding your medical things if they understand what's going on but still may choose their own thing anyway

  • cool

  • best one in a while, but it has nothing to do with you. so why do it?

  • I'm not against with the decision but... Chemo is against their religion and they're forced into it. Wouldn't that be against the right of Religion in the Declaration of Human Rights?

  • i think in this case the child should be allowed to decide for themselves whether to get the chemo, obviously a little kid isnt capable of making the decision even if they pick the correct one, but it should definitely be below 18 to give personal consent even with parental objection. I think its different, when it comes to religion since religious maturity is usually well below 18 and it is a religious issue.

  • Phil can you post the Link to the Minnesota News Story

    Greatly Appreciated

& please don't stop making great progress.

  • fantastic work man!

  • Wow... if only people would step back from what they were programmed to learn and discover that there are ways of taking care of your body without all the harmful medications and such.

And it's not only taking care of your body, but enabling it to heal like it was created to do.

  • Too true. But the conventional ways would lose money and that just can't happen. That's why Homeopathy and such was branded a placebo. Conspiracy.

  • Wow...if only people realized that the human body, while powerful, is not capable of repairing itself from everything that exists.

Medical science exists strictly BECAUSE the "natural" medicines DON'T WORK. If they did, we'd have used them in medieval times, we'd have used them during the renaissance, and we'd still be using them today.

But the fact is most of these methods have NO bearing on disease, or curing it - and you essentially leave your health up to chance. Poor chances, at that.

  • However, most of the medications doctors give you have nothing to do with curing the disease itself. It's more or less pills for the side effects of pills for the side effects of pills for the side effects of pills. And all of it to help you cope during the hospital stay in which you pay lots of money for little to no real help.

However, with the right nutrients the body CAN and WILL repair itself. It's been proven time and time again.

  • The body can repair itself in remarkable ways, but there are points at which a threshold is passed and the body no longer has the ability to repair quickly enough to stop the disease from killing it. Thats when modern medicine kicks in, drugs act as a sort of catalyst to help our bodies even when they are damaged beyond to point where they repair themselves.

  • Modern medical science has it's place for emergencies... but hardly any of the public know of ways to keep your body healthy which leads to many cancers and diseases because the human body (which is highly capable of overcoming such hindrances with the right support) is so worn out from not functioning to its full potential.

People may think that the medicines we have now are better, but they are severely undereducated. There's more the FDA chooses not to share with the common public.

  • Sweetie, do you have any idea what cancer is? It's a cell that grew abnormally and rapidly reproduces. It can occur in anyone anywhere no matter the area and no matter personal habits. While taking supplements boost your immunity, it in no way is a guarantee you will never have cancer and to state that it will it purely false.

  • Yes, I do know what cancer is. I've also seen patients overcome cancer with holistic methods. I'm not saying that it is impossible for you to get cancer if you are completely healthy and take the right supplements. But what I am saying is that modern medicine needs to change. There are ways to treat various things such as simple ailments as allergies with chiropractic adjustments and natural supplements rather than chemicals which have adverse affects most times.

  • I've seen many examples of a variety of problems solved with natural supplements derived from products that you could eat. The human body is amazing and responds well to natural things as opposed to chemicals and lab-created medicines that normally treat the symptoms and bury the root of the problem even further only to have it resurface at a later date and bring more problems.

  • @cgirl4e , You aren't basing your argument on science at all...Look at the statistics on people with hodgkin's lymphoma that do not undergo chemo or radiation and use "natural" remedies...The survival rate is less than 5%....Now look at chemo, survival rate 90%.......When i went through hodgkin's i met someone else who was diagnosed around the same time as me. He refused "western medicine"...guess what hes dead now.

  • Nice way of expressing the issues.

  • a work of art. absolutely fantastic! your point? spot on!

  • seems like forcing the kid to have chemo would be a violation of freedom of religion.

  • That's like saying committing people for committing rape and murder [both supported by the Christian God in many instances] is violating religious freedom. The kid needed to be healthy. Religion heals the spirit, but not the body.

  • it would be if it was an adult. a child should'nt have to suffer for its parents stupid opinions and twisted world view.

  • how do you know chemo is the only right way of treating cancer ? Cause you're beeing told so. Don't take anything for granted.

  • if only they had forced Bob Marley to receive treatment...

  • I am 17, and I had hodgkin's lymphoma when I was 16. I can't believe someone would refuse chemo. Life is worth living, not putting in the hands of a disease which will destroy your body.

  • awesome attention to details :P

  • you're genius of course ! (:

  • Respect man, i always wait for your videos, you never let me down...

  • You never cease to amaze, Phil. =]

  • I just heard about the story this morning and I'm glad the boy is receiving treatment and will likely recover. But while it was morally right for this child to receive treatment under the current justice system, I'm wondering about whether it is ethically right to force the boy to undergo treatment considering his religion. While I understand what our gov't is trying to do, I think people also need to take into consideration that not all of us are of Christian and Catholic faiths.

  • Goodness gracious you are so amazing. I don't know how you do it.

  • Speechless :D

  • um.. when did you heard this Chemo thing? in the news recently?
