Lego 1382 Halloween Studios Scary Laboratory Lego Frankenstein Review

I wasn't collecting Lego when the Studio sets came out, but looking at them now, i think the concept is a little bizzare. Children would normally just pretend that the monsters were really monsters, or that Peter Parker really turned into Spider-Man. These sets ask children to pretend that these are actors pretending to be monsters and heroes. I just don't see that as being as much fun for kids. As a kid I would have just thrown out the whole 'studio" element and had fun with monsters.

Thanks BrickQueen. Great review. I recently bought a large old job lot of Lego with no instructions (from Gumtree) and I could not work out which sets some of it had come from. Thanks to you I now know it includes this set. Now I can download the instructions from the Lego website and see how much of this set I have. Hooray!
