I have heard of 3 ways you can get stuck in a pokemon game.

1. Saving in Glitch City (Gen 1) without a pokemon that knows Fly or Teleport.

2. Trading a Finneon that knows surf for the Meister's Magikarp (Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum) without any other pokemon that knows Fly, Surf, or Teleport; have none of the fishing rods, and running out of rare candies trying to level up the Magikarp into a Gyarados.

3. The Broken Escalator glitch in Diamond and Pearl.

I know it was possible to be trapped in Red and Blue. I used cut on the tree to get to Lt Surge's GYM and saved where the tree used to be then when I turned my game back on I was stuck on top of the tree and had to start a new game. :P

There are no shortcuts to catching Pokémon by pressing any buttons. Patience is the only key you need to catch a pokémon.

I read this somewhere:

"im from gamefreak and my pokemon supervisor told me this: 1. get to low hp (at least red), 2. put to sleep (hypnosis), 3. throw ball (i reccomend ultra), 4. after each shake is completed, press b... i've caught every legendary in all pokemon with this, hope it helps..."

I'm not sure how legit this is, but it's worth a shot.

@qwertyb18 I doubt it, I mean 1 - 2 are no duh but #4. Well there are tons of catching methods out there ( mostly involving the buttons ), but I just hold the A button down.

21:25 In generation 1, if it was possible to overwrite HM moves, there are ways you could get trapped, mainly since you could deposit them, I think it would also be possible in this generation if you had traded pokemon, which is why you have to go to the move deleter to delete hm moves. But mainly in generation 1, I think it is possible by going in the back entrance of the cave where Articuno is, and never went from the front entrance. I remember doing that long ago and never found my way out.

Braille is the language you are talking about, blind people feel the bumpy dots that are on the paper and can tell what it is saying based on that.
