maybe there only telling us half the truth, what if a ufo collided with the balloon tearing it to bits and scattering pieces everywhere, the ufo would end up further away than the balloon pieces allowing for the two different reports.

yeah huh... its obvious, i dont know why a police departments record is any proof.

Ok, so the police department didnt went out to collect it... we know... it was the military... Show the military records... The police records are just as usefull as the coastguard records... its all irrelevant information and doesnt proof anything. they just want to set us on the wrong track and forget the whole thing ever happened.
