@playguitarsolos_Stevie was just locked in to a different channel than the rest. He was and is, one of a kind. I miss him dearly and I know the music world misses him too. One day, we will all be jamin in a sweet reunion on golden guitars that never go out of tune or break a string. Amen to that! :)
What is the deal with SRV?? Has to be the most over rated guitarist of all time,I have never heard him do anything amazing? Seems pretty basic stuff to me compared to the likes of Tommy Emmanuel or Sol Philcox.
@jonnykk2...if you have to ask, you'll never know or understand it. I've seen Tommy many times and he is great...few could ever do what he does technically. By the same token, Tommy could never be SRV...and you will never understand that! Explain how to tell blue from red to the color blind. Let me know how that goes.
@PippoBlues93 fuckin A dude i can barly sing and play rythm let alone play sch an intense solo as he does in my eyes thi guy was, is and still a GUITAR GODDDDDD!
Now that was awesome! I keep stopping and starting this so I can learn some of those licks. You've got everything detail nailed, from the sound to your picking technique! Good job man! (Y)
@Edward1312 why does it matter how much money was spent for his guitar if he can play the shit out of it? people like you are why music nowadays is so lacking in emotion. all you care about is how much your instrument cost, when you probably cant play it half as good as ppl who actually care about the real music. ps. youre a jackass

Dude!! You are an awesome and horendous (I don't even know how to spell that word but I know what it means! THIS GUY) guitar player! I have been watching your videos for a while now and I have learned more from you in less than a year than I did taking lessons one on one every week for over 3 yrs when I was a teenager back in the 80's! If you don't do this for a living then you should What impresses me the most is your ability to cover several different types of music and do it with ease Rock on
I am so sorry I meant TREMENDOUS!!! I think it would be impossible to say this guy sounds shitty! If someone did say that they need more than just their head checked more like their ears and their mouth for letting some words like that come out!lol There is a word that is similar to what i wrote the first time I just can't remember how it is used Jackson Brown used it in the interview that was filmed at the end of Stevie Ray Vaughan "Live at the Elmocambo" If you watch that listen to Jackson
It looks like he was purposly twisting his fingers awkwardly and abnormally to give you the clearest view possibe of what he is doing - showing you how to play it.
The boy has done his homework. I've got the intro at 'paupur'. I prefer the second position down from the top on my Strat. Try it and see what you think.

Well now, nicely played but I could've as well listened to the original track. This thing is not a lesson.
