I don't want to call any of them, least Amon Tobin, overrated in any way, but I couldn't call them a name like that. Their music can be beautiful but really, from the heavy use of samples I just don't know.. amazing use of them but for the melodies I really don't know what to think. I always hate finding sample origins too

I'm a big Amon Tobin fan, but I think you're right. I sample too, and sometimes I find sample origins, and it's a little dissapointing to discover that allot of sampling artists just take original compostitions and place them in their own music. I think your comment was a reply to the "genius" comment. as I said, i'm a big Amon fan but genius is a little overrated I think. I mean, Amon is also compared to Miles Davis and I think that;s just a little out of proportion imo.
