Everything comes into consideration when it comes to accuracy. The barrel, the pressure what kind of air you're shooting and even the paint. Expensive paints have a thicker fill and more are more consistant when it comes to being perfectly round. As far as Flatline barrels they are pointless. If you're playing woodsball normally you're taking shots between 15-30 yards. Speedball is even closer. Do you really need a flatline??
@MetalEagle94 Spaz.... Sorry that I had a FlatLine... And now im just trying to warn everybody of the obvious... Geez, it's not like everyone doesnt already know the flatline sucks...
alright i gotta ask this since everyone seems to have different beliefs of what exactly a barrel does. ......ready for it???............what does a barrel do?
With the whole debate on accuracy, the barrel is probably the last thing that leads to accuracy. If your barrel is able to put a paintball in the same place every time, it is accurate. But, your barrel won't be able to do that if your gun isn't consistent. Buy a gun with a good reg, make sure your gun is cleaned and greased, and any halfway decent barrel with be very accurate.
na bro its just because its high pressure. lol if you have any tippmanns lying around in the closet, take it out and shoot hpa through it. it makes clouds.
this dumbass may want to consider the fact that speedball is dumb and that tippmann is deffinatley a woodsball scenario company and doesnt make any retarded speedball guns... so dont be dumb play woodsball and dont use woodsball guns for speedball
yes this is all i do i never leave my comp i never sleep i never eat and i dont even breathe cuz that may interrupt my falming ppl(sarcasm) no i dont this fucking ididot just pissed me off and i dont need u starting on me
ok then hes bitching about a tippmann which is what really pisses me off becuz the 98 especially is like the ak 47 of paintball and should never be called anything but BADASS
yea tippmans never break.i think that theyre great guns but i would never use one. id rather use something like and etek thats really good and can go in airball or woodsball
Thats not true at all. Most speedball markers are very prone to problems because of the punishment the go through. But the etek/ego's with the star frame are extremely comfortable. I'd look at the new SLG's with the UL from on it, that's a good buy.
Not all of us can afford a 600 dollar gun, when simply spending an extra hundred dollars gets use a rampage board and somthing that is "ok" on the speedball course. Fucking ego etek why not just save another 600 bucks and buy the ego.
this is my new account, and i got it for 350. thats about 175 cheaper than an ion. you will save 175 bucks in paint alone because this guns so much more accurate.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
BULLS*** one gun can not be more accurate than another it is a common misconception about that, the barrel is what makes the difference and an ion costs 200 which is $150 less than you got whatever you have and the only reason you would not waste paint is that you can't shoot it fast
uh no your actually completly wrong. guns use different pressures to fire, and have different consistancys, which changes accuracy. my eteks much more consistant with pressure in each shot then my ion. also the guns firing bolt is what decides the angle the air hits the ball, the pressure, and how evenly the pressures spaced. another thing is whether the gun heats or cools easily which will change accuracy. notice all of the things i just listed, and did not even mention a barrel. you are wrong.
BULLS*** the barrel is what makes a gun accurate or not it is physically impossible for any gun to be more accurate than another I have tested it a Shocker and a Spyder are just as accurate with the same barrel you are going along the lines of real fire arms, I suppose you think a rifled barrel would improve accuracy too. It does not work that way FYI!!!
uhhh how would i be going by real fire arm standerds? real guns arent fired with bolts containing high pressured co2, and have no regs or freezing possibilities when fired. your completly wrong and ive shown it, ps, rifled barrels do improve accuracy you idiot.
In paintball they don't in no way would a rifled barrel help. What I meant by real fire arm standards is that the amount of force affects the accuracy and rifled barrels only help with real guns not paintball.
no, force would effect in paintball too. if one shot is 300 fps and one is 310 fps, one paintball is going to go further then the other, causing less accuracy.
When you bore match you can shoot further with more accuracy but if you shoot at 200psi operating pressure or 80psi operating pressure it makes no accuracy difference
tippmann are some of the best out there. i have a 98 custom with a flatline barrel and a folding stock. the main good reason to get one is there are some many upgrades to them compare a anglefire. yes anglefire is a good gun but i wouldnt pay 1000 for one.
Tippmann is the best that is y you rent them because they r durable and reliable. My friend has an Ion and my Tippmann A-5 owns his Ion because that thing can't shoot for shit it's only fast but its very unaccurate and unreliable.
are you fukking mental, he probly uses co2 in it, my ion rapes ant tipman, stock ions are more accurate, faster, and more air efficient than any stock tipman, tipmans are good, but ions are better, i have an a-5 as my back up, not as good as my ion.
however, ions come stock, lighter, quieter, and more air efficient than A-5, their stock regulator, and internals are better, and an electronic hopper is 40$ velocity force, feed rate of 18bps.
lol, how'd you get the 10rnd tube into the feedneck? I've been looking for a way to handicap myself for pump style play and that'd be perfect, only the 10 rnd tubes won't fit in my feedneck :$
So you're saying I'd like it more if it were electronic... I bought a mechanical marker for a reason. If I wanted electronics, I would have bought a marker that utilizes them better.
theyre supposed to sound different there not made the same way other markers are there asmbelly is a little heavier but more durable since they are meant for woodsball
mabey the gun isnt the problem. mabey you just suck. buy a different gun if you want to play speedball dumbass.ITS CALLED AN ION their cheap and almost idiot proof.
lol wen i saw this first i htough ahh great more tippmann hater than i saw a speed ball field and laffed.. on another note thats for woods ball and u shouldnt stick ur hopper out like that put it behind the bunker
if you get a tippmann 98 and leave the whole thing as it came you might realize you need to customize, for this i highly recommend flatline barrel or a smart parts tactical barrel, and definately a fucking response trigger, that helps, but if you have about $300 get an a-5, its just better
Hey dipshit, if you had been paying any attention at all, you would know that the reason I hate the marker is that it's not working properly, as in mechanical difficulties. I don't care what 'type' of marker I play with, it doesn't change how well I play that much. Having a marker chop every other ball, however, does.
well actually "dipshit" as you like to refer to people as. its a 98 custom so it never breaks unless you been trating it horibly. SECOND OFF tippmann repairs its guns for free. and if its a certain part on it thats broken they will mail you the part for free. so why dont you get off your "dipshitty" ass and fix your gun. rather than posting vids of you playing with a damaged marker and posting vids dissing a brand that has saved my ass on the field
Well, "you retard" as you like to refer to people as, this marker is actually quite resistant to repair. So far I have replaced the sear, sear spring, hammer, hammer spring, hammer o-ring, bolt o-ring, back bumper, and am working on replacing the power tube (none of these have fixed it). I have already stated my views on sending it to an airsmith in the description.
As for dissing the brand, I have done no such thing. I said that I hate MY marker, but nothing about tippmanns in general. I never blamed the brand for my ability (good or bad) or "dissed" it in any other way. I made this video to entertain an audience, not to badmouth a brand.
ummm wow then you are WAY to hard on your gear. cause uhhh tippmanns are the most durable brand out their. mabye you should lighten up on your things. you know treat your stuff better... you dip shitty retard
You misinterpreted again. The marker broke once, and the problem is still unclear. Apparently all the parts I replaced were in good enough condition, for they were not the problem. I'm not so hard on my gear that everything was worn out, or my marker has broken after every part I replaced. Plus, I have an automag which is older and sees more use than the Tippmann, and it hasn't broken on me yet, so I'm not too tough on my gear.
I know I'm using CO2. Perhaps it wasn't properly explained in the description, but I said that the fill nipple on my HPA tank was BROKEN, thus forcing me to use CO2. Since I don't like to risk fouling the valve in my 'mag, I used my Tippmann, which was not working properly, hence the name of the video.
Everything comes into consideration when it comes to accuracy. The barrel, the pressure what kind of air you're shooting and even the paint. Expensive paints have a thicker fill and more are more consistant when it comes to being perfectly round. As far as Flatline barrels they are pointless.
