aw man. i live right on campus, i totally would have let him stay at my house and experience college life for a night. except that would be slightly creepy. haha. i wonder which hotel he was at. maybe the one right across the street from hill auditorium? or maybe in detroit near the airport. hmmm. i thought it was really cute when he was using his hand to show where in MI we were at. and he said, "go blue!" which totally made me love him even more. haha

I just have to say even though this recording is amazing...it's NOTHING compared to how it all sounded live!! The acoustics were incredible and his voice sounded so clear and crisp there and the orchestra sounded amazing too!!!! Worth every penny and then some :) Thanks for the recordings Emily just so I can relive some of it just a little bit :)

What happened in the beginning was David was describing the song The Riddle about questioning why are we here and somebody shouted back "You!" as the answer to "The Riddle" of why are we here. Most heard it in the audience and understood and lol'd, but David didn't hear it and didn't know why everyone was lol'ing and so he asked "What happened" to I think the conductor or someone in the orchestra. I'm pretty sure he never did get why everyone was chuckling. He was ADORABLE!!!!
