By this time, CBS had been dumped by Larry Tisch and Loews Corporation to that failing enterprise Westinghouse and Michael Jordan who borrowed tons of cash to buy it
...And, I also remember those "King of Queens" (0:52) promos too! Those were posted up all over the city back then! That was my show when it began back in '98! Leah Remini was smokin' back in '98! ;) Well, so was Lisa Rieffel (as "Sara Spooner" in the first 5--or 4--episodes of the show). :) That whole 1998-1999 Monday night line-up ("Cosby," "The King of Queens," "Everybody Loves Raymond," & "Becker"--in that order) was the shit. I loved it! And, all 4 sitcoms were NYC-area based! Greatness!
The Tuna!!! 1998 Jets, son--12-4!!! (Those actors playing the Gang Green were rockin' an imitation version of the 1997--last season--uni's. :)) Even though I am still pissed about that championship game (FUCK!!!), it was still an awesome season. 1998 marked the year NFL (AFC) games came back to CBS. I remember the NYJ/Channel 2 promos posted up on buses and other billboards all around NYC (especially in Brooklyn & Queens!) during that great '98 summer...
