  • Yes, email relevance is going to be the reason a lot of new people start taking over IM. Most of the old guard are not having the success they had in the past with shotgun email blasts.

Google is able to look at your stats and they are now limiting access to Gmail. All the other major players are doing the same.

  • Just thought of a question Charles. Are you saying that Google, with all of their PHDs, has the power to clamp down in some way that will stop me from being able to send emails to my various lists, if they feel like it?

  • @thomasburke3 Guess what most popular free email services are ?

Hotmail (Microsoft), Yahoo, and Gmail (Google).

Google can easily track which emails get opened and which dont as they have so many users using their Gmail service !

Google controls so much of the internet, youtube, Gmail, google search, adsense, adwords and the list is always growing, it can be hard not to leave a footprint to big G !

  • @mojowaky nice explanation, thanks. Hope Charles will give me something to help me out before those like google, yahoo and microsoft decide they feel it is a nice time to assassinate me and any online presence I may have at the time, for whatever reason they want, just because they feel they are the self appointed gods and police officers of the internet.

  • @thomasburke3 Its time to start using facebook now to build your empire. Also I'm just starting mobile
