Allow me to predict the future here. This game is going to be fantastic, and its going to open up a trilogy for the series. Plus, it will establish EA as a company that values Intellectual Properties (IP's), instead of mediocre licensed games that they usually publish. Also, Deadspace will be a direct competitor to Capcom's Resident Evil 5 fall release. It will not compete against titles like Gears of War 2 because it doesn't focus on CO-OP play. The future has been revealed.
There happens to be a film that came out a year before the game, called DEAD SPACE. It's about an old school graffiti artist exploring the underworld of Paris, the Catacombs. There are over 70kms of abandoned tunnels directly below the city, below the subway & sewer systems. He's been going down there for over 25 years and the film tells the story of this character by following him through this labyrinth. deadspacemovie dot com , for anyone who is interested...
well its a documentary right? based under paris, people go around in the catacombs, hang about, graffiti and all. No relation to any video game or previous movie. Fairly good Doc too, awsome ambiance.
