I DON;T SEE WHY EVERYONJE IN AMERICA IS MAKING A BIG DEAL OF SOMETHING WHICH HAS WORKED IN THE UK FOR YEARS
but i have a solution
all the money that gets wasted in prisons to buy sky tvs video games free education and all other perks etc should be taken and used to pay for the national health sare why should tax payers' money be used to give criminals a life of luxury whilst ;people are dying
trying to make a profit by ga,bling with human life is fucking sick
I have a fool proof idea that will fix it all. Get off you fat asses and excersise, stop eating fast food and drinking cokes. It will solve itself if this happened. We have the best heatlh care world, it's just being abused by people who intentionally live unhealthy lives. Why can't one of these idiots just come right out and say it, "America, your fucking fat"
Be afraid...... The horror of it. All kids getting medical care. Those poor children. Any child that gets sick, then getting care that is so wrong. If kids can't afford to be sick then they shouldn't expect any help. Let dad sell some blood or if moms hot enought sell some flesh. After all they must be low lifes right? 95% of America's children's parents are covered. Man how can we live in such a crappy country?
"One of the traditional methods of imposing statism or socialism on a people has been by way of medicine, its very easy to diguise a medical program as a humanitarian project. Most people are a little reluctant to oppose anything that suggests medical care for people who possibly can't afford it."-Ronald Reagan
Comments like 47 million not being insured "doesn't affect me" are at least honest, if not morally shameful, and in the end utterly blind, as we are all in this society together and therefore everything affects everybody in ways that seem too subtle for you to realize. I could go on and on listing rational arguments for government-run health care: our businesses compete against major economies who cover their citizens, but fundamentally this is a moral issue. Either you feel it or you don't.
the idea is great, the execution will be awful. How do I know? It will be run by the government and beaurocrats. I see it every day. Work with government local and federal. Common sense will not prevail and the system will eventually not work. That is socialism though.....I suppose a whole lot of people in america want to learn the hardway instead of learning from history.
But of course, very rarely do Democrats or welfare-state proponents means-test their own programs. They just assume statistics from the census bureau or otherwise uninformed folks is COMPLETELY ACCURATE.
Btw, how much you wanna bet that least a fifth of those families with uninsured children could easily afford it had they actually bothered to get insurance and not spent all their savings on frivolous bullshit? Quite a few of the 47 million uninsured make 50-75 grand or more yearly. I have to question whether or not these 11 million REALLY come from truly needy families or just have parents that don't give 2 shits.
They'll realize the "crisis" was no more a crisis than the amount of people living "in poverty" as defined by government standards. How is some people not affording health care, but the vast majority being able to, a CRISIS?? That's just fearmongering. Yes, I'd like to see more people covered, but in this economic system, some people not having access does not affect me. There are much more salient factors that drive costs and affordability.
Here's a thought, Democrats: WHY does it matter if some people aren't covered? That's the price we pay for the best healthcare in the world! And no, you don't define the quality of a system by how many people have coverage, which is actually a lot higher than the 47 million bogus number. What'll Obama say when he realizes that he won't be able to cover 47 million, but rather, 20 million or just 10 million who are actually uninsured long-term? It'll be earth-shattering for these regulators.
here is a thought....the left/right paradigm controls everything. The left...is corrupt, the right....is corrupt. Once we face that we can work to fix things.
To all you tax payers and smoker here is away reduce the cost for the child SCHIP bill. Go buy a carton of cigarettes and hand them out to 12 and 13 year old children. Then once they get addicted they will increase the number of smokers to pay the taxes.
Also since the Demo Congress said there is no need for these children or parents to have a valid SS#, all you people living in Mexico can not get free medical treatments for your children.
You know this communism joke is getting old...every major CAPATILIST industrialized nation somehow manages to muddle through it's bureacratic systems to produce universal coverage for it's citizens, and aside from the moral argument, their businessess are more competitive against ours BECAUSE they don't have to ensure their employees.
The other point is that if you think private companies are all staffed by super-efficient, well-intentioned geniusues,
you only have to look at GM or Wall Street for your answer.
We don't have kindergarten insurance or police insurance why on earth do we have health care insurance...Health care is a right, like education and defense. Private insurance companies drive doctors and patients crazy with unnecessary paperwork and the profits go to who? Wall Street
Well, I am not sure what I think about this yet. I am certainly not an Obama supporter but he is doing some things that at least might help. Health care cost is OUT OF CONTROL and I think some families will really benefit from this. Second, I like that it is a tobacco tax that is supposed to pay for it. Also, his salary cap for executives, duh, why not. However, I do take issue with him saying there was a resounding call for change. Almost half the votes did vote the other way.

All Americans need to buy cigarettes daily to fund this 'wonderful' expanded Healthcare plan.
Buy a pack of smokes today - to do otherwise is harmful to children.
Buy smokes every day - Congress is counting on you - your President is counting on you.
Thank you - and good night America
