@superdonkeymafia36 - In many cases, jig fishing is all about making a good cast to the structure you're fishing (laydown, weed line, etc). Many times they will hit it on the fall or shortly or after it settles on the bottom. You can also work it slow on the bottom, - shaking it, popping it, or dragging it, depending on the type of bottom you're fishing. There are also swim jigs designed to swim. Experiment with all of these different techniques, and focus on making an accurate cast.

@superdonkeymafia36 - Also, because a high percentage of strikes occur on the drop, you'll also want to experiment with different weights and trailers to change the rate of fall of the jig. Conditions may call for a faster or slower rate of fall of the jig, so this is something you'll want to change until you find how fast of a fall they want.
