  • My great grandfather came from Odessa toward Latin America ve Chile -along with thousands- more fleeing conscription by the same war.

  • The world is so small.....

We will be playing in Latin America - Buenos Aires in November at Klezfiesta. We're looking forward to perform our music there.

  • Tov. Grettings, "to Joske" from Santiago de Chile

  • Hello! I've listened "Yoshke" in Yiddish lot of time ago at my childhood (Joshke fort avek, noch a sho, noch a sho, un pojezd gejt avek). You've made a very good performing of the song, and also beautiful performers! All my best! Gregory from Israel, borned in Bielorussia.

  • Hi Gregory! We sing it in jidish as well. And we like the song very much.

You know, Slovak girls are beautiful! Very beautiful.

  • Hello..;)) Can you send me tourdates in Germany...

  • Unfortunately no tourdates in Germany yet. If you know some places in Germany where klezmer is played please send it to me. I can try to organize our concert there.

    Danke schön.

  • Thanks from Ukraine :)

Btw, could you say, where I could find lyrics? I understand alot, but not everything :(

  • Here are the lyrics: Nepeč pre mňa žiadne šišky, boli by mi kyslé. Idem slúžiť do armády, stratím sa ti z mysle. Oj vej, oj vej, už je to raz tak, Joške stojí na stanici, odvezie ho vlak. Oj vej, oj vej, nenachádzam reč... Ešte slabá hodinka a Joške bude preč.
  • PART II: Nekupuj mi stužky, mašle, aj bez nich som tvoja, kúp si radšej dobré čižmy, bude z teba vojak. Oj vej, oj vej... Ostávaj tu v dobrom zdraví, moja drahá žena, za tebou bude smútiť moja duša roztúžená. Oj vej, oj vej...
  • PART III: Vlak pred chvíľou odišiel, na hodinách je sedem, Joške odišiel tým vlakom ja tu sama sedím. Oj vej, oj vej, už je to raz tak, Joške stojí na stanici, odvezie ho vlak. Oj vej, oj vej, v hrdle viazne reč... Ešte chvíľa, ešte pohľad (a) Joške bude preč.
  • dakujem :)

  • I love klezmer...and this song is great!^^

  • I saw them live yesterday on the jewish summer festival in Budapest, HU. They were amazing!!! Very talented. :)

  • Quelle grande découverte, super!

  • Tenhle remix bych povazoval spis za slabsi vec od Preßburgeru.) Rozhodne hrajou i o moc lepsi.) Doporucuju sehnat nejaky to jejich Cedo.

tady se mi nejvic paci hracka na akordeon takze teraz dobre.)

  • Cool!

  • UAU!!!! SKVELÉ!!!!! GRATULUJEM!

  • It's an enjoyable tune. Where can you get the group's albums in the United States (online stores)?

  • Thank you for the information.

  • This is great! My father's family is Russian Jews and my mother's family is Slovak! Best of all worlds!

  • surprisingly nice. Poland says hello

  • verry nice music :) and nice song even if idon't understand it its nice!

  • This song is one of the best songs on the album! The macedonian original song of this is beautiful aswell. It is located at MySpace. The original is coming from first world war or around 1910 and is about a girlfriend who is saying goodbye to her boyfriend at the train station as he is leaving for military service/army/war(?).

  • Can only jews play klezmer?

  • Surely not. Majority of our band is not Jewish.

  • okey I don't know much about klezmer music I just found out about it, by th way what language is the song in?

  • It's in Slovak.

  • The style and structure of klezmer as we know it today is thought to have come largely from 19th century Bessarabia (Romania), where the bulk of today's traditional repertoire was written. It is based on hora, sirba, doina, all of them of Romanian origin.

For more detail see Wikipedia Klezmer.
