What vntiger still left out are footage of American soldiers raping little girls in villages like that and then excute them or beat them to death and they did that to the old people too. You US should all burn in hell for the fuck up things you did to us, if excute North Vietnamese soldiers then its just part of war, but doing it to innocent civilians, thats just way fucked up. I hope one day a country would do the same exact things that you did to us, so you'll know what it feels like.

Its funny how we don't see any of those so call south vietnamese disagreeing with what was happening in the video cuz they know it is true and it was shameful to them. The part of burning those straw houses in that village was fuck up, what the fuck did those innocent people ever done to you. They were just living their lives and one day you show up your ugly face and burn their house, so fuck up.

Hey CanadianMind, that person that was on fire was a monk who was protesting against the South Vietnam President Ngo Dien Diem for discriminating monks and people that believe in Buddahism. The people ran to bow to him because what he is doing is like hm hard to explain, but like holyness and they bow down to ask for forgiveness of what was happening to the monks and the people who believe in Buddha.

Thank you for educating me about that, it's very interesting. I find it sad though, how the President discriminated Buddhists. The monks themselves are so peaceful and nice too! What ended up happening to the monks? Did everyone survive?

It was a vietnamese monk that set fire on himself to protest against the US puppet regime ruling part of his country.
Actually, several monks did that; but one of the most known (because of images of the immolation; and probably in the video is him) is Thich Quang Duc.
