You all seem to have good heads on your shoulders and that is a rare thing these days. My first child is due in October and I can only hope that I am able to do as well a job as your parents seem to have done!
I fundamentally disagree with you on political policy but I applaud your devotion to you values. I hope that your voice is heard at the convention and you can convince people to vote for a candidate they actually agree with and like instead of the one they hate the least or the one that is part of the "evil" party. If you vote for a candidate you are responsible for the good and the bad they do. Ron Paul has never given me any reason that he would do anything bad. A vote for Obama is a vote for murdering unborn children. A vote for McCain is a vote for more dead soldiers. A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for the death of the patriot act, federal reserve, IRS, income tax, and the over sized government. I don't know about everyone else, but Ron Paul is better than Obama and McCain.
Ron Paul really opened my eyes to how deceitful the republican party and fox news is. The media is destroying this nation. America needed Ron Paul and the media refused to report on his outstanding record in the congress. Now most Americans think they only have 2 choices. May God have mercy on us all.

Start becoming fit. Change your diet to become more healthy. Read books and documentaries. Broaden your horizons. Unplug yourself from the TUBE.
Spread the idea of what government should do. The people will figure out what to do.
