  • The muzzle flash looks fake

  • Always make your attacker advance through a hail of bullets, he may kill you with your own gun but he'll have to beat you to death with it because it will be empty!

  • @madlib64 im not American (im Canadian) and i think that your forgetting about places like somolia where you can get a full auto ak for like 30 bucks with no license or anything

  • alors les nains, on a le kiki tout dur en touchant une arme, on se sent puissant ? :D

  • @madlib64 I belive you're wrong about The United States being first in Firearm homicides, I've seen many make that argument and it's silmply false. For instance Mexico's firearm homicide rates are far higher that The US and I'm pretty sure they have a ban on a lot of guns. That being said I don't think every idiot should be able to buy whatever gun he wants.

  • @seth316613 You are indeed right, there is a very strict gun control law which only allows crooks (government and drug cartels, criminal organizations) to have guns leaving the average citizen defenseless and that is the reason why there should NEVER be a gun control ban in the US, the day that happens all hell will break lose. For instance in Mexico, what can citizens do against a government that has all the guns? NOTHING, what can they do against drug cartels and others, NOTHING?

  • @seth316613 I say we should all vote IN FAVOR of keeping the 2nd amendement whether you are a pro or against gun control. Being able to form a militia when necessary to keep a government from being oppresive? I'm all for it, hopefully there are enough of us voting for that here in the USA.

  • @madlib64 Not every one who owns a gun is red neck. But if they were it would be a title I would be proud to bear. PS You should be glad there are guns because when someone kills you for being an unconstitutional fuckface you can take comfort in knowing that the gun will allow your death to be as quick as possible. Please do not even try to throw the first amendment in the mix I am well aware of your rights just as you should be of mine and appreciate the way in which I exercise them.

  • @KITTENxxMITTONS Fuck France.

  • Oh my God!!!!! Suker and Fucker.

  • @madlib64 ...LOL, stupid moron. you must be one of the bitches who would let a government do whatever it pleases no matter what. government is for the people, not to dominate the people.

  • ok, now i want one too.

  • Yo dawg, I herd u liek clips, so I suggested you buy a glock.

In reality, I do like the P226, the only problem I have is the size. The P228 is a bit more compact and fits me just slightly better, but if not for the 226 the 228 wouldn't exist. So I certainly owe my due respect to this fine piece of engineering.

  • cool thats my favorite German/Swiss pistol! its a cute little gun!

  • AWESOME GUN

  • I'm all for the slide method rather than a button-device. However, if you are able to do one or the other while coming up to your target that would be better.

  • Tap, Rack, and bang. no fumbling.

  • I like the way you think...

  • I agree with Big on the slide release from my experience, and I'm no expert either. However, the idea behind not using it is simple enough. Train as you fight, and then you'll fight like you train.

You never want to be fumbling for a slide release in an adrenaline rush. Always pull the slide back instead. That way you'll be used to that motion in a stressful situation.

Never let the pistol go empty unless you are out of ammo. The round in the chamber may save your life while reloading!

  • @PatriotEke Your right about training as you fight, but if you train like an asshole, your gonna fight like an asshole. Tap Rack Bang--the way the pro's do it.

And also, this "tactical reload" business is retarded as it gets. You must be brain dead to advocate dropping live ammo in the midst of a fight.

  • Tap Rack Bang? The only point I mentioned was not using the slide release.

My only other comment was to leave a round in the chamber as you reload. That's common sense, not brain dead. Drop your mag and reload when you have one round left in the chamber.

I never said drop live ammo. Did you even read my comment? Relax man! We are on the same side.

    8-)

  • @PatriotEke Yeah, because everyone counts rounds fired during fire fights. =/

  • @ViEtRiCeR lmao i know right?

  • having a shootout at night suck muzzle flash give away your position.

  • 1) In a combat situation (forced to draw and try to fire or actually fire) your fine motor skills will not allow the minipulation of the small things.

    2) The slide lock slot is squared, the slide lock level puts pressure on the slot, after time the corner will become rounded and that will cause slide to not lock back or premature slide release.

Things I learned in Sig Armor class and stuff we learned at the Acadmey.

  • You are probably on of the three guys on Youtube that actually know what you are talking about when it comes to firearms. And for all the people that use the term "clips"......it's magazines. It's 25 push ups for each fuck up!!!

  • Correct.

    Down and Push!

  • LOL!

  • @maskedman1980

Jesus christ I hate people who call magazines clips.

They make me want to rip my dick off while having a boner.

  • @w0w00t O.O

  • @w0w00t why not rip theirs off for calling it a clip? Why cause you pain? haha

  • @DAB0690 because i enjoy it

  • slow down partner.

  • this is the best damn 9mm on the market! guys, i don't ever do a tactical clip drop on the nasty ground, only over a padded surface at an indoor range. second shooter needs to develop a stance. if he's right handed, tell him to put his left foot in front of the right. developing a stance gives you control in case you need to run or make a fast move. Just a friendly suggestion.

  • The mags are made to withstand hard drops and such. They are durable..

Ive dropped mine in tactical shooting situations, stepped on them and they work fine. It's also not a tactical drop thats called an emergency reload. Tactical is called a magazine save when you have rounds in the mag left and you want a fresh mag in the magwell.

My only thing to add to the above is NEVER use the slide release. I can explain more if you wish.

  • please do

  • why do you never use the slide release?

  • Explain

  • was the target hit at all???

  • you suck at realoading

  • keep your finger of the trigger while reloading that is how accidents happen

  • Defend this right!

  • Second shooter doesn't look very experienced.

  • hey can someone tell me the diff between the p220 and the p226?

is the p226 just a new model of the p220? would one buy a p220 only because one cant afford a p226?

    or is there sufficient differences?

  • p220 is cal .45 while the p226 is cal 9x19 mm... that's it...

  • the p226 also comes in .357 SIG and .40 S&W

  • Glock vs. Sig Sauer

    Reply with your choice.

  • sig for sure.

  • what? standard sig p226 vs glock 17? glock 17 dude... a sig might be accurate but never ever that reliable like a glock!!!!

  • The glock has better grouping for double or triple taps. I also didn't like having to take off the safety after loading another mag. But I have to admit I did love the feel of the 226 that I shot although this one doesn't look as baulky as the one I shot recently.

  • P226 doesn't have a safety on most of its variations...

  • That's the second time on here I've seen someone say sigs don't have safetys, but the one I shot definately did and it was fucking annoying, every time you let the slide go forward the safety went on automatically and you had to take it off before you could start shooting again. Surely I didn't shoot the only one in existence. Anybody??????

  • Theres like 8-10 major variations of the P226, only 1 or 2 of them actually have a safety.

  • I've never ever seen a sig with manual safety except the sa/da function and the decocking leaver... i own a p226 x-five... this one has a safety on both side but this is only because of ipsc rules! on a duty sig i don't know about safeties that you can't shoot after putting in a new magazine

  • glocks r bettr

  • So is grammar & spelling!

  • Yes, glock does make better hand grenades then sig

  • does a slide from a sig sauer p226 also works on a p229? please comment back!

  • No, the frame on a P229 is SMALLER then a P226.

  • Mmmmm I want the 226 Navy/SEAL edition...its like the one handgun I'm really missing in my collection aahhhh.

*closes youtube before I make a hasty gunbroker purchase*

    Cool vid btw.

  • Only thing I don't like about Sigs is that they have no saftey.

  • They have three safeties, not including the one between your ears.

  • The only one i need. The only one anybody needs but there's so many morons running around with glocks.

  • Great handgun. SAS, SEAL, thousands of various law enf, can't be wrong. I loved it in the Academy. Didn't think much of it until actually trying it. Made a a believer out of me.

  • Thats more like it!!!!!! The REAL P226!!!!! Not this airsoft BB shit. Thanks :-)

  • I hear ya, I hate doing searches and finding 90% of "awesome gun firing" being airsoft. No offense, I love airsoft, but comon. ;) Peace!

  • i totally know what you mean, the first 10 will be airsoft and what's even worst, they try to be cool and make out that it's a real fire arm then you wait for it to load and find out your time is wasted.

  • i had both the beretta and the sig pro when i get my gun licence for arm security again this time im going to carry a sig 226 9mm hell it made cost a little more, but you want the best so buy the best.

  • very nice shooting... correct stance etc.

  • I'm not degrading the Beretta M9, but i think this would be a much better side arm. Many special forces already use the P229.

  • The reason why the military chose the Beretta was because the Beretta had a cheaper overall cost.

The main 9mm sidearm for the Navy SEALs is the P226. The well respected Swiss army also use the P226. I believe that the Texas Rangers use the P226, but it may be the .40S&W version.

  • The Beretta is not a bad weapon, but it has some drawbacks that the P226 doesn't have. For one, it has problem with rusting.

  • It's not nearly as durable in extreme conditions as the Glock or Sig P226.

  • that means that the person doesn't clean there gun...

  • Maybe, but most weapons are not supposed to rust at all.

  • Unless its annodized, all metal rusts.

  • I'm not trying to say the wrong thing, that's just what I read.

  • The swiss army use P75. The army version of the P220.

  • The swiss army use P75. The army version of the P220.

  • all british, german, spanish and italian police- special forces and their MI5 and MI6 euquivalents all use the glock handgun.

(along with g36 and mp5's also)

  • Standard of the Swedish Police is SIG Sauer 226, 228 and 239 :D

  • when i get my G licence for security this what im going to carry is a sig 9mm or a Beretta 9mm or hell a usp maybe

  • Not good for longer precision shooting because of the short barrel but they are still nice and expensive"

  • Any opinions as to the Sig P226 vs the H&K USP? I considering both.

  • 9mm? I hope I don't sound dumb, but isn't the 226 offered in .357 Sig also?

  • 9mm? I hope I don't sound dumb, but isn't the 226 offered in .357 Sig also?

  • They're pretty similar. I guess the only difference is what caliber you want.

  • got one myself, the x-five. beautiful gun that never jams and which is very accurate

  • greal pistol

  • such a stable gun compared tp the p225

  • I have the same gun and put a 1000 rounds through it with out a jam.

  • yo nice gun man

  • Gave it a 5 since I love Sigs, check out my vid, and please rate it/feedback. Thanks!!!

  • the recoil and sound definitely show its not a .45

  • uts definatly a 9mm

  • I'm usually a 1911 guy, but I've been thinking about getting a Sig. Do the new ones have an internal locking system, though? If they do, forget it.

  • awsome pistol, i own 1 never had a prob, and accurate to boot

  • Yes, but some states only allow 10 as maximum.

I have 2 15 round magazines but I only load 10 at a time. Target shooting can actually get tiring if you shoot more than 10 rounds slowly.

  • No, some states are only allowed 10 rds, so Sig sells some with 10 rd mags.

  • I like the sig sauer better than my 9mm .38 cal. It is easy to fire, as in that the shot is nice and smooth. It really is a great gun.

  • Good job, and with the Safariland and everything!

  • yeah i have a question i shot a 9mm about a week ago and ever since then i have had a ringing in my right ear.. is this by any chance normal and if it is will the ringing go away..figure i would ask somebody that shoots alot

  • Very nice.. and then pum.pum.PAM..

  • Very nice shooting! Nice control and form!

  • I disagree, girp was subpar at best.

  • And you'd know this how? Any firearms instructor will teach you the correct method but then tell you to modify it to what works best with you. As long as the bullets are landing where they need to be and he's getting a good 'flash sight picture' there's no reason to criticize the guys grip. Some like a full hand wrap, some like their hands high up with a good beaver-tail. Honestly, youtube has spawned some of the least informed experts I've ever seen.

  • what a beauty.... ingenious swiss/german engineeering

  • I've had a P226 chambered in .357 SIG for about 10 years. Great pistol. However, .357 SIG ammo is too damn expensive now, so I picked up a 9mm conversion barrel and a double recoil spring - like what comes standard on an H&K. Best purchase ever. Thing shoots like a champ.

  • colt python is better

  • im getting a Sig Sauer P226 Blackwater

  • best gun ever

  • i love the sound

  • y does the gun in the clip sparks... mine doesnt at all!!!

  • Type of ammo and light conditions

  • I have a .357/.44/.50 DE. Piece of shit. Jams all day. Then I grew up and got a SIG.

  • De's are amazing one of the best guns Ive ever shot...

  • sigs are amazing accurate pistol... my favourite one si the p210! of course....!!! as ugly looking as accurate....

  • lol

  • kool gun but id rather have the .50 desert eagle

  • the de is just a paper weight, it is a crappy built gun, sigs however in my opinion are one of the best

  • SIG Sauer is in fact one of the safest and most trustworthy weapons in the world. High standard guns. Powerful, accurate and they always works when you need it. The perfect pistol. Cool looking too. Our police (Swedish Police Service) uses SIG Sauer pistols on duty ^^

  • i agree about the DE but you gotta becareful when shootin the DE cuz you can break your arm from the recoil

  • ya true i see what u mean but they strong

  • Too much Counter Strike.

  • I'd pass on that one... the weight of the pistol as well as the excessive caliber don't do it any favours... size isn't everything

  • german fire arms are the best...;-)

  • They certainly made all of MY favorite guns.

  • Sig is swiss my friend, and sigsauer is 1/2 swiss 1/german

  • Actually, many of the parts are made in the US. Most of the slides and some frames are made in Exeter, NH. Many other parts are contracted out to factories in the US. Most of the frames were made in Germany last I checked. Some Sig firearms are made in Switzerland, but not the P series pistols.

  • oh yeah damn, i was getting all patriotic about sig lol, mine has the swiss flag on it, doo they all have that? i think the swiss army p220 are made in switzerland, at least im sure the 550 are made in switzlerand

  • The 550 are made in Switzerland. The P220 should have the country or countries of origin stamped on it. Older ones and certain special models were made in Germany, but newer standard models have German frames and Exeter, NH (USA) made slides.

  • ok thanks for the info, looked up the history of this gun, it was engineered in switzerland, but due to swiss laws they had to make them with the firm sauer in Eckernförde (germany) because swiss laws don't allow gun exports for civile use.

  • bea.... utiful weapons had he pleasure of firing all the p series sig pistols the best 9mm pistol by far

  • that gun is worth all 1600 dollars

  • Dont forget its fucking hard to count rounds fired in a fight... it all works in training "Ur talking to me"

  • i don't really like the slide release on SIG P-series, but other than that, they're really nice guns.

  • if you fire all but last round you wont have to hit slde release much faster reloading that way and keeping one in it is good in real fire fight so no one can get close. best is just fire a few drop the mag reload with one round in it then you have a clip with a few left for that last guy. if push ever came to shove. just my 2 cents.

  • sigs are great guns, nice gun control

  • excellent shooting, guys. have to try a sig one day...!

  • hey isn't it bad to dry fire your sig? or are they so tuff you don't even have to worry about it? I'm wanting to get a sig 2022 in 9mm.. you think it's a good idea?

  • Sig centerfire handguns can be dry fired without risk of damage. That is what I was told at the factory. I have dry fired my P226 a lot, and there is no sign of wear or damage.

  • thank you, I was curious

  • No, its not.

  • my dad has one

  • Thanks, it's fun stuff alright

  • 9mm sounds so cool nice control.

  • good gun control both of yous.

I also like how you guys check the barrel even after the mag drops.

  • Thanks for your comment, much appriciated.

  • gift me a that gun ! , excellent control of weapon , but slow firing rate :(
