@AussieAddick What part are you going to? It really depends on where you go. For instance, if you go to New York City, you'll run into a lot of people and many of them... quite unique. Everuthing's a rush. But in New Jersey where I'm at, it's boring and lazy. Slow-paced. Etc, just giving examples of the differences of states.

Tires specifically filled with nitrogen. Fastest cutting corners. ZR1 just has speed. GTR is cheaper, so more economic. I don't know about you, but in every aspect the GTR is better. It's got more brutal acceleration. Have you ever been in both of those cars? I have and the spec v is much faster, I can tell you that.

@BmwM3E46Power Only reason zr1 is fast is because of powerful engine + it's practically made of plastic. It's sick, but a gtr is better. Shaped to channel air towards spoiler. Tires specifically filled with nitrogen. Fastest cutting corners. ZR1 just has speed. GTR is cheaper, so more economic. I don't know about you, but in every aspect the GTR is better. It's got more brutal acceleration. Have you ever been in both of those cars? I have and the spec v is much faster, I can tell you that.

@BmwM3E46Power Honestly, you must not know much about cars if you think the zr1 is better. GTR's handmade engine is much better. Just because it's a V6 doesn't mean shit. Even though I consider v8 engines to be awesome, GTR is just better built, better performance, more convenient to drive, more exciting to drive. plus, Nissan has much better engineering than "general motors"

i really wish u had knowledge, its a 3sec car to 60, and 10's thru the 1/4 @ 132 mph with the correct driver, also change the pulley and u can get 700 to 800 w/o any engine modds and get to 218 mph in a mile, so 638 is more than enough, do so research b/4 posting, and this said it right KIDS like GTR'S not real men, ricers to be exact

The 640Hp Corvette ZR1 is priced from $103,300, the 480Hp Nissan GT-R from $69,850. Thats a huge price difference -$33,450 or nearly 50% more. Practically, the GT-R should be compared with the 505Hp Corvette Z06 that starts from $72,125. Although this is not an official time, various sites (including Motortrend) have stated that the Z06 lapped the Nurburgring in 7 minutes and 42 seconds or 13 seconds more than the GT-R.

@jonnypats while I agree with the first bit, the GTR went around the nurburgring significantly faster than a Porsche 911 and Ferraris. And Corvette was significantly slower around the Nurburgring than both those cars. So a GTR is much higher up.

And you "men" love the ZR1 because it's just fast but has... questionable but decent handling (made of practically plastic) and needs boy-bandish looks to pick up chicks. @laxjoh Fact and Fiction ( ZR-1 is superior in handling, braking, cornering,acceleration to cars 4x's the price, not to even mention the GTR, its very tough,durable, GTR not so much. the ZR-1 complete frame is made of light weight aluminum, body panels of Carbon Fiber, only not the front/rear bumber covers. FACT= GTR isnt durable tranny is weak, car is heavy, and now the dual timing chain tnsioner are collapsin and causin a horrible knock in the engine,and its not a supercar, its a factory tuner

@skillz1855 ZR1 braking and acceleration superiority over GTR, OK fact. Everything else? Fiction. If you so much as accidentally trip and land on the ZR1 with your hand, it'll have a large dent. My friend has one. Cornering and handling is not better... That's what the GTR was specifically made for. The ZR1, as well as ALL corvettes, are meant for speed with decent handling. GTR is known for one of the FASTEST cutting corners. And ZR1 isn't even on that list at the top. Not near it.

@skillz1855 Another point, kid. The 350z is a followup of the datsun models. And the GTR is supposed to be one of the newest followup model for the Datsun. So, yeah. And even while you still love the zr1, as do I, it seems you don't know much about the car. It breaks... EASILY. In this condo alone, there are about 6-7 corvettes, five of them zr1. I know all of them as they are all college students. They all complain about how it breaks down easily.

And since I actually have street racing experience (not that talentless drag racing), I can tell he's shifting gears at great times. He also owns an aston martin and a Porsche GT2. In these two cars, he pushes them but he doesn't want to push the zr1 cuz it breaks easily. By the way, he's a mechanic who frequently works on lambos, gumperts, gtrs, etc in Englewood. He claims handling/suspension/durability sucks on zr1. Dumbfuck

The entirety of the motoring world, even American motoring, considers all corvettes to be a boy-band car. Something that wants to be taken seriously but is nothing but a ragmuffin. @laxjoh hate to tell u but im a MC tech, own an imports only repair facility, and i do know what u jus said is completely false, i work on mostly bimmers/mercs, and lexus, and my shop is doin very well due to these cars breakin on the norm,but not lexus jus service, the GTR is troublesome and breaks when driven hard, i know GM techs and nissan techs, ive seen GTR;s completely disassembled on the lift for tranny issues, Z-06's only burned out cluthes no mechanical, no ZR1 issues reported yet

Can't really compare the GT-r with Z1 as the GT-r's a 2+2 and only 3.8 litre, give the japanese 6.2 litre V8 and a supercharger and they'd get a lot more than a poxy 638hp (hp not bhp) and a car that would handle too. How the hell do Chevrolet only get 638hp out of 6.2 litres??

@isiahlilman You're retarded. GTR model was specifically built that way to channel air into the spoilers. And it has better handling. More COMFORTABLE driving experience (first hand experience. It has much better suspension... FOR A SUPERCAR). GTR has a better quality engine. GTR IS MUCH more fuel efficient AND is more durable. Push a GTR, it'll run great for a long time. Push a ZR1, and it starts to fall apart on the 3rd day, especially tires, even the engines. You're just biased and bitter.

Because while America's sport cars are... cute as in a boy trying to be more, the GTR already is a great car and better in every aspect except speed. And that's only from the first few seconds. 1/4 drag, zr1 will have a lead. 1/2 mile drag, it'll start catching up. The entire world of auto vehicles consider ALL corvettes to be a boyband-ish car. Wants to be taken serious but is nothing but a rag compared to other cars.

Well the ZR1 is a lot faster then the GT-R. But the GR-R was built to handle a lot better then the ZR1. It's just fact that the Nissan's suspension is a lot better then the Vets, but it would still be very close, cause speed is what the ZR1 was built for.

...In case you DIDNT just hear the vid... The GTR was turning in times abou 15-20 seconds FASTER than the ZR-1... He literally just said that. Granted YES NEITHER were official, but I bet neither were very far off, if at all. Im not saying the ZR1 is BAD, its not, by any means at all, hell, i really wouldnt be surprised if it was actually faster, but considering that the GTR has 4 seats instead of 2... Im still goin w/ the GTR. Call me crazy, talk shit all you want, but remember: Its an opinion.
