This is a cool sound. I never heard this song before either! I kind of think she should have went this direction with her sound in the 1990's. Doesn't sound like Pat Benatar at all. I do like Pat Benatar though. But Kim sounds like Kim.
WTF! What is WRONG with you people. Pat Benatar is an overgrown rock grannie who only ducked into some synth touches cos that was the sound from the UK and Europe breaking into America. KIM WILDE only ever sounds like HERSELF! It's others that try to sound like her, you muppet! Pat Benatar couldn't do a complex, tuneful hook-filled chorus Kim song if she tried. This is another that should have been an A-side! As usual. People steal from Kim records-NOT the other way around, got it! Muppet!
@Amwidkle Pat Benatar's vocals often sound like screechy guitar sliding, she is not an adequate sog-writer and her singles can sometimes go very wrong-i.e the lousy 'You Better Run' and stupid, embarrassing 'Oooh Ooh Song'. Kim Wilde is Kim Wilde and no one can sound like her and she is an albums person wheras most artists, despite the so-called claims of their over-zealous fans!
