he isn't half the musician or singer the old John was. (Young Hines I think his name was).

Not a quarter as good. Even acting wise. They're flat with that new guy. He couldn't even time the strums at the beginning of A Day in the Life. Not to nitpick, but...the old John made this band phenomenal. New guy makes them passable. It's a bummer.

I'm not being belligerent, but there isn't a comparison. Watch them both do Imagine, or on the other end, Twist and Shout. Young had rasp and was a better, singer, period. Infinitely better guitarist. The new guy is good, he's fun. But hokey, with the megaphone, and the clap-along stuff, come on. It isn't the same. Watch vids from '08 and vids from this summer. There isn't an argument.

Hi. Their show in Peoria was about 2 hours long, so my eight videos are about a third of their show. I think you'll love it. :-)
