juan diego lopez: i didn't know that

  • Shut yer f*cken mouth in the courtroom when the judge tells you Fred you f*cken old fool.

  • The third black guy with the cap is stymie from the little rascals

  • I can't believe they let him say the n word on regular tv wow !!!!

  • I ABSOLUTELY love this episode! Look, you get a ticket from a WHITE cop in a BLUE uniform in a BLACK neighborhood. And makes you so mad, you see RED. Only you ain't gon' fight it cuz you too YELLOW. Now what are you, a man or a box of crayons?!

  • @weewaa101 YES, because it's FUNNY, not racist, funny!

  • Fred - Listen, why don't you arrest some white drivers

    Policeman - I do

Fred - You do, well where are they? look at all these niggers in here!!! Look around here there's enough niggers to make a Tarzan movie!!!

This episode was the best moments in Sanford And Son History!!!!!

  • Look at all dez nigga'z in here! XD

  • Fred: I bet ya he got a speeding ticket. See, because, uh, when Mexicans get their car started, they have to drive real fast so they can get to where they're goin' before their car stalls again." sooo funny I'm mexican american and I've gotten 2 speeding tickets!!

  • Ahh, yes, the 1970's. Back when political correctness wasn't as big an issue as it is now.

  • Fred ,they still don't arrest white drivers

  • @01hound ..so you saying im black?...didnt know that

  • I love this one ;)

  • Yeah.. "Nigga" not Nigger....

  • If Redd Foxx and the other black people in the show didn't have a problem with the word "nigger" or "nigga" or however you prefer to spell it now, I don't know why TV Land feels the need to edit it out of every show it's in.

  • Fred's friends are babbling fools! lol

  • Yo dat nigga is so funni!

  • creampie was in the tarzan movie

  • Sanford and son is the best!!!

  • Hey creampie, go suck tarzan's balls!

  • all these nigga comments are only for those who are afraid to say to a black person face, we all kno that ur life sucks, we all really dont need to hear that asshole

  • @creampie23ful. It's racist comments like this one, that keep the races separate and at odds with one another. To quote a famous king, "Can't we all just get along?"

  • @thunderheartful

Have you ever heard of a All White Gang?

  • @99boyz, Isn't that the name of a 1960's to 1970's rock band?

  • ... or is that the Average White Band? I can't remember.

  • i couldnt BREATHE!!! ROTFL

  • lmfao "theres enough niggas in here to make a tarzan movie" Red Foxx was a FOOL love this show! Ive been trying to find this episode for like a week lol love it!

  • LOL.......Real times....Honest TV. Years ago people spoke how they feel. Todays world people are scared to say how they feel. We are SOFT NOW and have feelings. I wish we can go back when people didn't give a damn about "FEELINGS"....

GOD BLESS Redd Foxx and Real Times TV.............................

  • I've seen this episode twice on TV Land. BOTH times they censored the "There's enough niggas in here..." exchange. First time they just beeped the word. Second time the whole passage was edited.

  • This is Fred's Al Sharpton impression.

  • fred sanford... the one and only!

  • Look at all these niggas in here! There's enough niggas in here to make a Tarzan movie. LMAO

  • God Bless Red Foxx, God Bless the producers and writers of Sanford and Son. Real humor in a world that didn't have it's butt so puckered up that people couldn't laugh at themselves.

  • Bubba look crazy as hell!!!!LOL

  • This is real deal "MUST SEE TV"!!! Paul Mooney and the writers of this show had grown man balls!

  • I was looking for this episode forever. "Enough to make a Tarzan movie", good old Fred Sanford.

  • @ujayet I totally agree with u on this scene! "I didn't know that!"

  • C'mon people!! stop being in denial!! we know Fred was funny in here but that Mexican old man kinda steal the show in the begining just admit it! and who is he anyway?

  • @ujayet I totally agree with u on this scene! "I didn't know that!"

  • This is one of my favorite scenes. Fred is so crazy!! And grady and the friends is too funny and loud. I will laugh at this all day.

  • @earlspann: I know, right?! They were ghetto like shyt!!! LMAOROTFL!!!! I nearly peed my pants!!

  • @arkie74 the G is for Going upside ya fuc n head

  • "Look At The Judqe...He's A Brotha" Haaa Fred Was Hilarious!!!!!!!

  • The judge says, "is the arresting officer present?"..........He didn't get arrested

  • Look at all these Niggas in here!

  • what ever you do don't make let the judge know how ignorant you are!!! LOL!

Juan Deigo Lopez = He's a Mexican LOOOOOL

  • @carl22069 Well ignorance of the law is no excuse. I have no alternative but to find you guilty.

  • ther's enough niggers in here to make a tarzan movie!!!

  • @arkie74 its niggas.

  • @damilla357 nigga's! my bad!

  • "Next time you get in trouble get you a white lawyer and get you some time in jail!!!!"

    too funny.

  • This is one of several episodes written by Paul Mooney and Richard Pryor

  • "Look at the Judge...it's a brother, son we got it made" ROFLMAO

  • Crazy funny!!

  • Redd Foxx was born in 1922 and Mayo in 1930. They were both close in age. Make-up Magic in television. Regarding the "N" word, times have changed. It had it's place, but only in strife that has been equalized. Hard times are exist in all culture. So it's either ignorant or whining that a black person says it anymore.

  • they made them look older. like valona from good times was on an episode made her look older

  • they made them look older. like valona from good times was on an episode made her look older

  • LMAO! one of the best episodes.

  • It's hard to believe that actor Whitman Mayo (Grady) was only 44 years old when he did this. He looks like an old man.

  • @thx291 Are you serious?

  • @thx291 I always thought Grady was older than Fred.

  • @thx291

44Years old?? Get the F$@# outta here!

  • The old black guy with the cap played Stimey in "The Little Rascals."

  • If there was a "Best Of Sanford And Son" or a count down, this would one of the best episodes! And as much as I hate hearing the term "PC" and as much as I hate and don't use the "n word" this doesn't fall into that category. This scene stands ALONE and is over 30 years old but it's still as fresh and relevant as the day it was filmed! Social commentary...Ready Freddy style!! Lol!

  • Unfortunately the last time this was played on TVLand it was edited.

  • sanford & son martin and i love lucy best shows ever

  • there's enough ni__ers in her to make a tarzan movie

  • LOL 5:50>>>>>

  • the greatest sitcom ever...this episode made me laugh so hard

  • Fred G. Sanford. the G stands for god i almost pissed my pants!!!! i grew up watching this show with my parents. this is how t.v.'s shows should be!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • To getthelook2010..... he didnt hit the bench. If you look closely he's actually looking over at Lamont to be quiet and let him do his thing. He swipes his hand telling him to pipe down.

  • 1:42 "But that's as fast as my car can go!(35 mph)." HILARIOUS!!!!!!

This is one of the best episodes of Sanford & Son that was ever produced.

  • I just noticed something. When the judge summonsed Fred to approach the bench, he walked up to it and hit it @ 5:31. I wonder why he did that.

  • @GetTheLook2010 It looks like a blooper, an editing blooper.

  • "you the judge, that don't count" haha man I miss the old tv shows.

  • This is a classic episode expecially at 5:19-6:34.OMG was so funny.Paul Mooney and Redd Foxx together are comedic brilliance.

  • Oh snap. I think might get this on DVD. lol

  • Wow, way to stereotype the Mexican as lazy and shiftless, then Fred comes with a halarious crack on Mexicans and their cars. TV was very liberal back then - classics like this no longer exists.

  • @pucksterz12 So true! And there's a debate over who's the funniest comedian ever. After watching footage like this, Redd Foxx is without a doubt the funniest comedian of all time! He was NOT afraid to push the boundaries with his comedy act and he brought freedom and liberation to TV with dialogue like this.

  • Enuff fo a Tawzan Moovy!!!! Classic Fred. Long live the King of Black comedy. And R.I.P. good television, which has been replaced with commercial interruptions and censorship.

  • Fred, Grady, Elroy, and Bubba betin in court!!!! LOL!

  • @trey186 its leroy not elroy

  • LMFAO AT 6:23!!!

  • Joe Show Episode 8 Joey Diaz

  • Definitely one of the best episodes. Fred & Sanford darn good and so is Grady.

  • Thumbs down on TVLand for censoring these great episodes.

  • ididnt know that.haha.

  • Redd Foxx, was one of a kind. RIP Fred.

  • "Judge, i don't have no contempt for this court. I did, but i don't now!" On top of all the other lines, this is the best episode ever!

  • @mcneal78 You're fined the sum of $25, pay on your way out.

  • They always cut that part (tarzan movie line) out on TV.

  • @secordgoon

Yeah they do. In today's time I guess they won't allow it. Even though it's one of the funniest lines ever!

  • The best

  • "well ill never defend you again! next time you get in trouble git you a white lawyer and do some time in jail" lol

  • This is one of the all-time great comedy scenes. It's got everything in it!

  • that's waht's wrong with the court, a black man hasn't got a chancec now and then. i'm black. you're the judge that don't count lmao

  • @jayhawker53 A poor man doesn't either.

  • Looka All these niggas in here!

    haha legend

  • LMAO!!! Best sit-com ever! Fred is da man!

  • "Look at the judge, It's a brotha"! LMAO!!!!!!!

  • Thats STYMIE from the Little Rascals walking next to Grady. Grady & Bubba and Fred's friends Stymie & Otis make me laugh so hard....

  • Look at all these ****** In this room!, Theres enough ****** to make a Tarzan flick!" I never laughed so hard.

  • Hello this is Vakano and i want yall to check out my new video

    Simply Put (um blue-sing)....

  • Classic lol

  • what a comedy legend.

  • this a classic!!!!!

  • look at the judge he a brother :)

  • 6:22 lolololol

  • i don't understand how ignorance of the law doesn't matter??if you kill someone with malice afore thought it matters and determines whether you get first degree murder or not.

  • That's another issue, though. If you kill someone intentionally, but you didn't know killing somebody intentionally was illegal... then your ignorance of the law doesn't mitigate the murder.

Ignorance or knowledge of the law is a separate issue from a person's intentions/motivations.

  • true, but igonorance of the law should be a mitigating circumstance. To me it;s another way for cops and the law to collect money from it;s citizens. i mean if the judge wanted to be a prick and remain in the law he still could have given lamont a ticket. He didnt; yield the right of way period. Go to the cashier and pay your ticket, that's what they do in philly. A cop and i argued over whether i went through a red or yellow light he said it was red and i said it was yellow.i had to post bail

  • It means, knowing if something is illegal or not.

  • lol fred implying the judge might be *wiggles hand*

  • Diz shit here iz funny azz hell i just wuz watch diz episodes last nite

  • Man, this is why I LOVE these old Norman Lear shows. They didn't pull any punches. Yeah, Fred used the "N-word", but so what? I think George Jefferson used more than anyone else in TV history. James Evans (Good Times) even used it once or twice. Archie Bunker used damn near every racial epithet known to man. The Norman Lear shows KEPT IT REAL That's why these shows are so popular 30 and 40 years later!

  • Politically incorrect as hell! Gotta love it!!

  • The court scene was funny then, and to this day it's still funny. God Bless Fred . He was so funny

  • @Cecthelp168

Fred was the greatest ever! The garbage that passes for comedy these days is a joke. (minus a few shows)

If networks want big time ratings, they would put Fred and Archie Bunker back in prime time. They were both great AMERICANS.

  • It's interesting that TV1 shows the unedited version of this show but TV Land won't. TV Land has to be politically correct I guess.

  • @Foxrrob Actually I saw the unedited version of this episode on TV Land years ago. I guess they changed it up now.

  • god bless fred sanford!

  • @airforceaggie i saw your sn are you an Texas Aggie

  • @lonestar710 yes

  • @airforceaggie: Amen!!!!

  • Fred's reaction at 6:39 is priceless: "Yep, I got 'im there...can't get outta that one..."

  • gambling in the courtroom over if lamont is found guilty or innocent. that was fucking hilarious!!!!

  • the judge is in another episode where he proposes to Donna :D

  • LOL Tarzan MOvie....

  • just saw this episode again on tvland and they cut out the tarzan comment

  • Why was that scene cut?

  • because he says "look at all these niggas...there's enough niggas here to make a Tarzan movie"

    except he says nigger

  • The man with the cap who's come to support Lamont and Fred in court is actor Matthew "Stymie" Beard, who played on "Our Gang" Comedies.

  • FOR REAL?!

    dang he has really changed.

Props to him though for appearing in this unforgettable moment in all of TV

  • Nope. that's Anthony Vargas aka Huggy Bear

  • Nope-its stymie.

  • It's 'Antonio Fargas'.

  • @ tommytwilight62 ... yes, that's right. He plays the character, Otis.

He also played a bigger role in the Social Security episode when Grady gets 3 checks from the U.S. Social Security Admin.

  • Redd Foxx has the best swag i've seen!

  • u do..? well where are they...? look at all these nighas in here.. lol

  • i didnt' know that lol

  • 5:15 From 8:40 lol

  • that would never be allowed today . xD great stuff .

  • Hate to point out that Watts is a predominantly black neighborhood, and the cop patrolled there....

  • This is one of the funniest "Sanford and Son" episodes, ever!

  • The Posse coming in making all that noise at 2:46 Lol!

  • absolute funniest show in the history of television up until the season without Redd Foxx and then the season without Lamont.

  • Fred : A black man ain't got a chance down here.

    Judge: I'm black.

Fred : Well, you the judge, that don't count. LOL

  • LMAO! 2:59 Lamont

  • Look I At the Judge, It's a brotha! Oh, You got it made.

  • Notice the flub? Between 5:14 and 5:25, Fred identifies himself as Lamont's "counsel" and having counseled Lamont all his life. He never identifies himself as "Mr. Sanford" to the court. Yet, at 6:47, the judge addresses Fred as "Mr. Sanford". Regardless, still one of the all-time best scenes from the series.

  • Comment removed

  • fordf1502 Ah Hell no,Fred wasn't that shy,he said niggers,no such thing as political correctness and the use of the word "niggas" back then, and this was on Prime Time

  • i'll bet you even money!!!!!!! that Fred is a mo fo, priceless!

  • look around you theres enough niggas in here to make a Tarzan movie

  • Bubba: "Hey Fred, 2 to 1 says he's found guilty."

Fred: "Put your money where your mouth is."

Bubba: "I got 2 bucks says he's guilty."

Fred: "Alright. How 'bout you Grady, you want some"?

This show and "All in the Family" were my two all-time favorite sitcoms. No others come close. Ha! Ha!

  • in tears then,in tears now

  • This is when tv was REALLY good! I never get tired of this.

  • Yea,this was funny and uncut when it came out on pre-cable TV

    A Classic

  • Look at the judge It's a Brotha.

  • I somehow missed this episode.

    Hilarious.

  • 5:23

  • 6:24

  • "Look at all these niggers in here! There's enough niggers in here to make a 'Tarzan' movie!"

  • That line gets me ROFL everytime I watch the DVD. Fuc_ing CLASSIC REDD FOXX!!!

  • "Look at the judge. It's a brother!" LOL!
