Played with great expression and in my opinion interpretation...The guitar fits the piece most profoundly. I think that this 8 stringed instrument could easily tackle "Romance " by Rubenstein....I have never ever heard the latter piece played on guitar...only Cello and on Y/Tube most beautifully by the late Gregor Piatigorsky.Greetings from Ireland by the way.
Mágico, evocador, una fantástica adaptación a guitarra de la pieza de Satie. Inmejorable. Me gustaría darte las gracias por la intensa emoción de éste momento musical.
Very beautiful! I hadn't heard this piece played on the guitar before. Sounds great! Makes me want to pick up the guitar again - but I think I'm more of a piano person nowdays. : )
que maravilla!! Si Erik Satie pudiera oir esta Gnossienne con el sonido y los matices que le saca con su guitarra, de seguro quedaria impresionado. Mi sincera enhorabuena.
I am a doctor and when stressed I sit back between patientsand listen to 3minutes and 27 secs of heaven. I wish I could play when I hear this. Fantastic.
@antoniolopezp Hello Antonio,Great to hear you playing Satie....Really lovely tone from that guitar. I would really like to see it "in the flesh".The slanted frets are interesting to hear about and does this enhance the tuning in any form or fashion? What notes are the 8 individual strings tuned to and do the strings each have their own thickness? This August in the city of Derry our Guitar society cgsni.org in Ireland will have its annual Guitar Fest.We have a lady member called Graciela.
It's a pretty eerie song on the piano...but on guitar is sounds so sorrowful. I love when musicians make the instruments ooze emotion like they're supposed to. Great job!
It's nice to hear someone playing Satie's work like it was meant to played. ... soft, heartfelt and without borders. A lot of people rush his songs or play them too rigidly, and they just don't sound right. This was spot on. Great work.
that is so lovely. I am already a fan of Satie, but I haven't heard him on solo guitar. That was so sad and heartfelt. I really felt the emotion of the song. Just beautiful! :)
I have left comments before about what an amazing performance of Satie you are capable of and have had this featured on my channel for quite some time now but I need to say again what a wonderful version of gnossienne no.3 this is and can only hope to be able to play it on the piano as well as you play on guitar, you are a true musician and I think Satie himself would agree, thanks for playing-Pablo
You took the words out of my mouth. I have watched several versions for piano on here and this is the best version I have heard of any Satie compostion on here.
I´ve just watched it again and remembered the footnotes that Satie leaved on the scores, all abstract phrases and words on how some notes or parts should be played. Exactly, in each breath you create this imaginary comes along. Soberb and profound and historic registration of this piece.
Well, never seen so good playing, so profound, since Segovia. I do like Willians, many others, even not so famous playing, but this playing is so soulfull, so perfect, that proved me that it takes serious work and technich, and most of all passion, to overcome the problem that piano brings when doing pieces made to sound on piano, but played on accoustic guitar. A refined job, soulfull. Thank for the joy Antonio López Palacios.
Excelente...hipnótico como deve ser essa cançao... Excelente, hypnotic, as it should be. Realmente eu também nao vejo a tempos alguém ultrassar as dificuldades da gravaçao, e sobrepujar a alma. Maestro, queria voce como professor.
Senor Lopez, do you compose any of your own music? I would love to hear. Also, it would be a joy to hear your interpretation of the Afro Cuban Lullaby that Segovia used to frequently play. Your sensitivity with the instrument and willingness to let the music breathe are magnificent.
hi m8 gotta say i think this is brilliant i wanna learn to play spanish guitar like this so bad. does that have more strings than normal or is it just me?
Such a classical arrangement which you have performed so lovely. Full of emotion and very easy to listen to. Just looks second nature to you to play. Enjoyed your music video, thank you for sharing! :)
Yes, it helps to have those extra strings. The important thing, and the one that I've tried to keep always in mind, is that the instrument doesn't lose it's intimate singing quality. I think that that is possible in pieces like this.
Superb playing! The extra bass string really helps in piano arrangements like this, I'm sure. I hope the future of classical guitar is just to keep adding strings! :)
Awsome, probably the best interpretation I've ever heard...
Thank you so much!

please let me know from where i can buy one on the net
thanks

It's not a twisted neck, the frets are at an angle.
I don't think you can buy in in the net.
Mine was built by Abel García.
