I'm Shalia Girl at heart...I can do anything with 2 pins and a shalia usually...I did this look for someone since they requested...now I'm thinking maybe you should post a reply with how you do yours. I think people will find it interest.
nice video but u do not need so many pins just 1 for the top to hold in place 1 for under the chin & a broach if required. Place the hijab on dont fold it in then take the 2 sides & pin alltogether under the chin. U can take the 2 flaps that r left at the front pass them around ur neck & tie at the back under the scarf.
I wear this daily & takes a minute to do once u get used to it.
Thanks for the input. I have tried using less pins but with the number of pins I used I get the most crisp lines...I don't ware this look often though. I invite everyone else to try out your suggesting.
i like the way you put hejab, would love to put this way too but i hate so many pins :)) i put only 1 hejab pin & it stays pretty safe. ..i wear different style..with kids so many pins i think not safe, or maybe in not used of it //Thanks..
As Salaamu Alaikum, you kept saying that your website was on either side of you in the video however, I never saw it was is your website or ebay name so that I can buy the turkish scarves and pins Thanks Jazakallahu Khair. Swiyyah
I'm so sorry I took the links last time they edged out and haven't posted them again. I'll send you a message via youtube tomorrow with the links. Jazak'Allah Khair.
Assalamu 'alaikum dear sister! Masha'Allah great video, I never knew how to do the Turkish way of Hijab, but now I guess it's much more clear to try out Alhamdulillah, so jazaki'Allah khair.
&& yeh hair spray lol, we need something called Hijab spray now.
Wa Alaikumus Salaam sister...more Muslim items should be on the market...it would be so nice if there was something that could make hijabs a little stiffer. I suppose you can always use a little starch when ironing to get it that stiff but I got this tip from a friend who works in a Salon overseas that do hijabs for weddings and surprisingly they use hairspray to give it a sharper stiffer look.
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Barakatuhu Sister... I reently became Muslim and have had difficulty learning how to wear a Hijab... I personally never do this style for everyday use...for formal events maybe some times but I agree its not practical with kids.
