hi Shodan816, maybe he means the casero brothers. Beaux is still alive but there are so many clubs nowadays claiming to teach "Beaux karate". caveat to students of those clubs.

To 'oldkarateka' I can clarify: There are no 'Beaux Brothers.' 'Beaux' simply means 'genelemen.' The club was started in 1964 by Nidans Jose (Joe) David and Nardo Casero. I was one of only two Americans allowed to train there. My buddy and I were best friends with Joe and Nardo. Our club was Kyokushin - a combination of Shotokan and GojuRyu. Nice Strong Ni Dan Kata,, is Beaux Brothers still around?? In Angeles City. I remember the Beaux Brothers,, I did not train with them, I trained elsewhere. I did not know the Beaux Brothers were Shotokan,, I thought they were Kyokushin ???
